We had an incredible time this weekend at the Cocke County Bluegrass Festival! Thank you to all of our DUNKEES for participating for a good cause!!

Congratulations to MOTOWN KELLY for bringing in the most dunks 🥳🥳

Not only did we have a lot of fun, but we were also able to raise $781 to help change the way foster care begins!! 🎉

Thank you to the bluegrass festival for allowing us to be part of something so special and fun!!

A story from an open home ❤️

We had a sibling group visit that shared how much they love the Isaiah 117 House.

Our volunteer asked, “What do you like about the house?”

“I like that I could have as many chicken nuggets as I want.”
“I like that your refrigerator has so much food in it.”
“I like that every time I ask for a snack or a drink or something else you say yes.”
“I like that I got my own bed.”
“I like that it’s a house. It’s been a long time since we were in a house.”

What a powerful reminder of why we exist… to provide physical and emotional support for children entering foster care. ❤️

When we get the call that a grandma has said YES to caring for her grandbabies, we get to say YES to helping provide what they need. ❤️

When we say we fill in the gap, this is what we mean.

Sometimes that “gap” looks like clothes, shoes, toiletries, baby items, food, comfort items, or simply making sure a family has what they need as they navigate an unexpected transition.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to come alongside these families and make this transition just a little bit easier. Thank You, Jesus! And thank you to every person who supports this ministry and makes moments like this possible. ❤️

If you know a grandparent who has stepped up to care for their grandbabies, thank them today. Remind them that what they are doing matters, and that they don’t have to do it alone. 🥹❤️

Our volunteers are simply incredible. ❤️

We received a call that a family was getting a kiddo, and we learned that the very next day was her birthday. Of course, we wanted to make sure she felt seen, loved, and extra special on her big day!

I reached out to our amazing volunteers, and they jumped right in. Because of them, we were able to hand-deliver so many birthday cards written especially for her. ❤️

It may seem like something small, but to a child who has experienced so much change, being remembered and celebrated can mean everything.

We are so thankful for volunteers who are always willing to show up and help us remind these kiddos: You are loved. You are seen. And you are not alone. ❤️
