If you attended WashU in the last 60 years, there's a good chance you were classmates with a member of the Mayers family. Ten Mayers family members across three generations have graduated from the university since 1971, earning a total of 13 degrees. Four of those alumni returned to WashU for spring Commencement to celebrate the family's newest graduate, Adam Hollander of , who earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from WashU Arts & Sciences. As they gathered for photos at their commemorative bench near Olin Library, the Mayers family reflected on their legacy and the integral role the university has played in their story.
