We’re proud to share that the BHA received a FY27 Coastal Resilience Grant to support flood resilience at Ausonia Apartments.

It was great to celebrate today with Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs Rebecca Tepper, Assistant Secretary of Coastal Zone Management Alison Brizius, other grant recipients, and staff who work so hard to make our communities more resilient.

Thank you to our state partners for their partnership in building critical infrastructure that keeps our housing communities safe.

A new chapter for Franklin Field! We celebrated the reopening of the basketball courts with a ribbon cutting last week, creating more space for residents to play, connect, and enjoy the outdoors. 🏀🌱

Thank you to the Franklin Field LTO, City of Boston, LISC Massachusetts, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Sasaki Foundation, and Belko Landscaping for making this project possible. And a special thank you to the teens who helped shape the design and bring this project to life!

The future of BHA redevelopment is taking shape in Charlestown. Innovative construction methods like a precast core, prefabricated exterior walls, and cross laminated timber floors are helping speed up construction so new homes are ready sooner. Thanks to Leggat McCall Properties for their partnership and to Suffolk Construction for bringing this vision to life. As BHA redevelopment continues across Boston, ideas like these are helping deliver high quality homes for residents more efficiently. 🏠🔨🚜🏗️

BHA residents spent the day exploring Boston’s history at our 250th Anniversary event with Revolutionary Spaces. Residents visited historic sites, such as the Old State House and Old South Meeting House, and learned about the people and events that helped shape our city/country.
