We are excited to share that the application to join ZOOtroop Council is now live! ZOOtroop Council is a small group of approximately 15 community leaders who oversee ZOOtroop programming and assist with fundraising for animal conservation worldwide. We meet once a month on average to plan and execute our vision and serve on committees related to event programming, external communication, and creative fundraising.

If you are interested in joining our small but mighty team, please complete the application (https://bit.ly/zootroop-council-app) and return it via email to Kelby at [email protected] by Friday, July 22 at 5:00 PM. Note that applicants are also asked to submit two letters of recommendation.

One week ago today, our inaugural ZOOtroop members had the exclusive opportunity to go behind the scenes to meet elephant baby Rama! 🐘 We saw inside the elephant barn, talked with caretakers about this 400-lb baby’s blooming personality, and heard all about the incredible work the is doing to care for elephants right here and across the world. 😍
