The official page of the Gamma Iota Colony of Sigma Beta Xi Sorority, Inc. On that day, "Groundbreaking" Gamma Iota was chartered.

On December 11, 2016, seven women were guided into the Virtuous Sisterhood of Sigma Beta Xi by Stephanie Glover-Wilson. WIth eight devoted women en tow, a paradigm shift happened in the Jersey City/Bayonne communities that will forever change the tide of service organizations. The women of Sigma Beta Xi stand on a foundation of sisterhood through motherhood and support higher education, self-impro

vement and issues concerning women and children around the country. The non-collegiate community based service sorority, founded in 2003 has finally found its place in the hearts of women in Hudson County and we all know that "a change is gonna come!"
