Check out this cottage terrace garden!

Our client’s dog is enjoying this space too!

Here is some lovely feedback we received from our client this week: “I wish the photo of Ruby could capture all the butterflies and hummingbirds that fly around her. I never thought there would be so much growth and wildlife action in less than 1 year”.

This first-year garden features sweeping crushed-pea gravel paths and a rustic patio. Natural stone walkways connect spaces and provide interest.

Planting beds give body and dimension to the living space and showcase a wide selection of native perennials, shrubs, and trees.
We’re excited to watch the garden grow and evolve as the plants settle in and begin to fill out!

WHY YOU SHOULD PLANT IN THE FALL ⬇

Fall is a great time to plant because the days are cooler, but the soil is still warm enough to promote new root growth!

Without the intensity of the summer heat, your native plants will acclimate to their new environment more easily. This makes for the perfect opportunity for plants to get ahead on developing their root system before winter sets in.

We had a great time hosting a workshop for Dukes Making a Difference!

This week, we welcomed students from JMU for a hands-on session exploring native plants and how we clean plants at our nursery.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the next generation of change makers and show them how native plants can make a difference!

We had a wonderful time at Blandy’s Garden Fair celebrating Mother’s Day this past weekend!

Not only was it perfect weather, it was so great to be surrounded by other plant vendors especially those supplying native species and knowledge.
