“Look away,” she whispers.
“See who you saved, who you helped.
Look away from the demons and what they’ve done.
Please, see hope.
You have so many more to save — including yourself.”

If you or a fellow officer needs support, you’re not alone.

Take a few minutes today to check in on your friends and loved ones. Those who are struggling don't always show it, and sometimes, a simple "How are you?" can mean more than you know. 💚

Two weeks ago the fella on the right sent me a text and asked if I’d sponsor him as he rides a bike over 200 miles in support of the survivors of fallen officers this coming May.

In case you don’t know, his name is Ryan Duxbury, and not only is he an outstanding human, he was also named Minnesotas police officer of the year after a near fatal shooting that almost took his life a few years ago.
Through some legendary resilience and tenacity, he recovered and continues to serve his community today.

When someone like that texts you, you respond immediately (which isn’t normal for me 😂). I absolutely said yes.
Last night after work I met with members of the Roseville PD to shake some hands and to wipe out the $1500 balance towards his big ride in DC.
The network of incredible humans that come to this shop is something that gets me up in the morning and keeps me going. Seriously.
I see so many good character traits in the folks whose hair we cut, and to know every now then I’ll get a text like that, I’m honored.

Thank you all for your continued support of Prohibition. You’re the “how and why” I’m able to do what I do with this brand.

If you’d like to contribute to other officers that are making this incredible trek, you can drop it off with your cut or even Venmo Prohibition Barbers. I’ll make sure every dollar ends up with these heroes.

Hey Southern MN

We are humbled to announce that Beneath the Badge - The Dave & Christi D**e Story will be hosting a Mental Health Seminar for current and former first responders, medical staff, military servicemembers and their significant others in Zumbrota on April 14th. Many thanks and sincere gratitude to the Schroeder family for sponsoring this for our area. We all need to carry Gary's story and continuously work to break the stigma around PTSD and mental health struggles.
