Today we celebrate Qua Gibson, one of our amazing CREATE seniors. Qua is an honor student who has continued to make us proud through his determination, growth, and commitment to excellence.

Over the years, we have watched Qua take on challenges, create memories, and become an important part of the CREATE family. His journey reflects resilience, leadership, and the ability to keep pushing forward no matter what comes his way.

We are beyond grateful for Qua and everything he has brought to our program. Please take a moment to watch and share his senior video journey as we celebrate all he has accomplished and all that is ahead for him.

Today we celebrate Andrew Brown and all he has accomplished as one of our CREATE seniors. Andrew is an honor student, a hardworking young man, and definitely the chef of CREATE. If food was involved, you could usually count on Andrew being nearby making sure everybody was good and well fed.

What stands out most about Andrew is his caring spirit. He has always been thoughtful, respectful, and willing to help others. His positive attitude and kind heart have made a lasting impact on our CREATE family.

We are proud of the young man Andrew has become and grateful to have watched his journey over the years. Please take a moment to watch and share Andrew’s senior video journey as we celebrate this exciting milestone and all that is ahead for him.

What better way to close out the Riding for Focus program at our schools than with a pizza party and post surveys. It has been an amazing year watching the students grow both on and off the bike.

A huge thank you to Coach Detorio for leading the classes this year. He enjoyed the experience just as much as the kids did, and it showed every single day.

We made it home safely from our London to Paris journey. Thank you to every donor, supporter, family member, and friend that prayed for us, encouraged us, and helped make this experience possible for our youth. We are beyond grateful and thankful for memories that will last a lifetime.

Yesterday was a day for touring Paris.

We kicked things off at the Louvre Museum and when I say huge I mean you could lose a whole class and still not find them by lunch huge. The kids were locked in though. Asking questions making observations really taking it all in. We might have come for sightseeing but this turned into a full history lesson real quick.

Next stop was the Notre-Dame Cathedral and listen the questions did not stop. These kids wanted to know everything. How it was built why it looks the way it does what happened over time. Google was working overtime trying to keep up with us and honestly I was learning right along with them.

My favorite part of the day was watching Diallo step up and teach the younger kids. That is the kind of learning you cannot plan. The little ones look up to the teens like they are stars and our teens showed patience leadership and real care. You could see confidence growing right in front of you.

I love our cycling family so much. We came for a ride but we are leaving with knowledge memories and a whole lot of growth.

O'Neal Wilson thank you for everything you have poured into this experience. You are a true blessing.

The last 24 hours? Whew… we’re still trying to remember our names 😅

But seeing those faces when we rolled up to the Eiffel Tower made every mile, every hill, and every soggy sock worth it.

We are so proud of these kids and coaches. This was hands down the toughest ride we’ve ever done. Think Bicycle Ride Across Georgia in the mountains… then squeeze it into 24 hours. Yes, really.

Those hills were beautiful… and also felt like they were personally offended by us. One climb stretched for about two miles and just kept going like it had something to prove. Then came the rain. Not just a drizzle… full-on “who forgot to turn the sky off” kind of rain. Wet shoes, wet socks, and clothes that could tell stories all on their own.

And still… these kids kept going.

They pushed, encouraged each other, and showed what heart really looks like.

O'Neal Wilson, thank you for putting this whole experience together and taking such good care of us. You gave these kids something they’ll never forget.

We came tired… we left stronger… and yes, a little stinkier too. But what a ride.

First half done. We made it to the ferry with 60 miles behind us. It is now 12:48 am.

Now the kids are sound asleep, getting about 5 hours of rest before we wake them up to take on the next 129 miles to the Eiffel Tower.

We were told most of the heavy hills were today, so we are hoping tomorrow brings a little lighter elevation.

We are so proud of our kids. The compliments have been nonstop. People are amazed at how well they ride, how respectful they are on the road, and how confidently they call out their commands.

They are tired, but they are pushing through and representing in the best way.

We are beyond proud of their strength and everything they have accomplished so far.
