We need your help! Our bedding supply is running low, and this is one of the hardest times of year to be short on these items.

As the colder weather sets in, we want to make sure we have blankets, comforters, sheets, and pillows available for our neighbors who need them. Right now, our selection is very limited, and we could really use our community's help.

We are asking for donations of new or gently used bedding that is clean, free of rips, stains, and bed bugs, and comes from smoke-free homes where it has not been used by pets.

We want to provide our neighbors with items that are in good condition and that we would feel comfortable using in our own homes.

If you have extra bedding you are no longer using, please consider donating it to Love In The Name of Christ of Cowlitz County . Every donation helps us continue serving our neighbors, especially during these colder months.

Drop off: 3609 Columbia Heights Rd parking lot B.

Donations can be dropped of between 10 and 2pm Monday thru Friday.

Thank you for always showing up for our community! 💙

💙 FREE Feeding Tube Syringes Available!

Love INC of Cowlitz County has received a generous donation of 60 mL ENFit feeding tube syringes, and we would love to get them into the hands of someone who needs them!

These syringes are designed for use with compatible feeding tubes to administer nutrition, water, and medications.

This is not something we typically carry in our Medical Equipment Ministry, so we are reaching out to our community to help find someone who could benefit from them.

💙 These supplies are completely FREE!

📞 Please call our office at 360-232-8576 to schedule a pickup.

Even if you do not need them yourself, sharing this post could help us reach someone who does!

🛏️ We Are in Urgent Need of Mattresses!!

Our Furniture Ministry is running very low on beds, and we currently have several individuals and families on our waiting list.

We are asking our community for donations of gently used twin, full, and queen-size beds. All beds must be in good condition, with no rips, stains, or damage, and cannot come from smoking homes or have been used by pets.

If you are able to deliver your donation, we would greatly appreciate it! We are currently only able to schedule donation pickups once a week, so having beds brought to us would be a tremendous help.

Please call our office at 360-232-8576 before bringing in any donations.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Love In The Name of Christ of Cowlitz County and the families we serve. We couldn't do this without our community!

❤️ Please share to help us get the word out!

Community Partnerships Make a Difference! 🚲

We recently had the pleasure of connecting with Chai Rivers Recovery Cafe in Kelso when Frank, their housing and employment specialist reached out to us on behalf of John, who was in need of a bicycle.

John has been attending the past few months and was previously connected with their Vancouver location. When Frank learned that John needed a bicycle, he reached out to Love In The Name of Christ of Cowlitz County to see if we could help!

One of the challenges we've been facing lately is finding enough volunteers to help us get bicycles out to those who need them. When John learned about this, he offered to volunteer his time to help!

What started as one organization reaching out to another for assistance has turned into an opportunity to work together and give back.

This is why we value building relationships with other organizations in our community. We each have different resources, strengths, and needs, and when we work together, everyone benefits.

Thank you to Frank and the team at Chai Rivers Recovery Café for reaching out, and a special thank-you to John for being willing to lend a hand. We're grateful for the opportunity to help and excited to see this connection grow!

🚲 THIS IS WHY OUR BIKE MINISTRY MATTERS! 💙

Stories like Melissa's remind us just how much of a difference one bicycle can make.

We're currently looking for volunteers who can help repair donated bikes on their own time, so we can continue helping neighbors like Melissa.

Whether you're looking to build your resume, gain volunteer experience, or simply give back to your community, we'd love to have your help!

Take a moment to read Melissa's story and see the difference your skills could make. 💙

Interested? Send us a message!

🚲 A Bike, A New Job, and a Fresh Start

Melissa recently reached out to Love INC after being referred to us while getting back into the workforce. She was in need of reliable transportation, and thankfully, we had a bike available that was a great fit for her!

Melissa walked more than **two miles** to meet with our Love INC representative, Jessica, to pick up her bike. She was so excited and grateful! She shared that having the bike will help her get back and forth to work while also giving her a way to stay active.

This is why the donations we receive and the volunteers who give their time matter so much. Something as simple as a donated bicycle can become transportation to a job, greater independence, and one more step forward for a neighbor in our community.

A huge thank you to our volunteers and everyone who donates bikes and other items that allow us to meet needs like Melissa’s. 💙

We are so grateful to be able to walk alongside our neighbors as they move forward.
