I just listened to Mayor Mamdani’s condemnation of ICE concerning the shooting of an illegal alien in the Bronx, and the repeated claim that there was no justification for such a shooting. Well, Mr. Mamdani, there certainly is justification. If New York was not a sanctuary city for illegal aliens and criminals, ICE would have arrested the individual in a safe environment at a courthouse or a police station; a peaceful transfer of custody of a criminal alien, but because of anti-American sanctuary city policies, civilians, and a five-year old child was put at risk and the community was whipped up in protest against their own government because of your policies.

For the benefit of the safety and security of New York residents I am calling on Governor Hochul and Mayor Mamdani to cooperate with ICE in the removal of criminal aliens. A house divided will not stand.
