It is with deep sorrow that the Fire Chiefs Association of Orange County announces the passing of Past President Scott S Arciero. Chief Arciero went home to the Almighty Chief on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Chief Arciero was also a Past Chief for the Mechanicstown Fire Department and Past Financial Secretary of the Orange County Volunteer Firefighters Association.

The officers and members of the FCAOCNY keep the Arciero and Mechanicstown FD in our prayers.

Services for Chief Arciero will be on Thursday, June 25, 2-4 and 7-9 at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell funeral home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY
Service will be 11 am Friday, June 26 at the funeral home and burial at Wallkill Cemetery, 160 Midway Rd, Middletown.

It is with deepest sorrow the Fire Chief's Association of Orange County announces the passing of Past President Andrew "Andy" Degraw, past chief of the Cronomer Valley Fire Dept.

It is with deep regret that Cronomer Valley Fire Department announces the passing of Past Chief and life member Andrew DeGraw.

Andy joined the fire department in 2001 and served as chief from 2012-2014.

A wake for Andy will be held at the Cronomer Valley Fire Department at 296 North Plank Road, Newburgh, NY on Sunday, May 17 from 2pm to 6pm, with a firematic service at 5pm and funeral services to follow on Monday.

Please keep the DeGraw family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this difficult time.
