GREAT LAKES. GREAT WALKS. HUGE IMPACT!

They’re back, and they’re not exactly known for doing things small.

Great Lakes Weim Rescue has been our TOP fundraising rescue two years running, and they’re returning for Walk for Weims 2027 with plans already taking shape across the Great Lakes region!

🐾 Menomonee Falls
🐾 Chicago
🐾 Grand Rapids
🐾 Plymouth / Ann Arbor
🐾 Cleveland
🐾 Buffalo

That’s six communities across five states getting ready to walk for Weims on April 10!

Locations are still being finalized, but one thing definitely isn’t tentative: the Great Lakes pack knows how to show up for rescue.

Can they make it THREE years at the top?

Welcome back, Great Lakes Weimaraner Rescue! We can’t wait to see what your pack does in 2027.

Same mission. Different sidewalks. One incredible Weim community!

🐾 Some things are just meant to be! 🩶

One look at this picture and it's pretty clear that Brianna has found her person! 🥹

We're thrilled to announce that Brianna has officially been adopted by her new mom, Julie! Sometimes the best love stories don't need words, and this picture says it all.

Here's to a lifetime of love, adventures, and plenty of Weimaraner shenanigans!

Happy tails, Brianna! 🩷

🐾 **LET'S TALK LEPTO!** 🐾

Leptospirosis (Lepto) is a potentially life-threatening bacterial infection that can affect your dog's kidneys and liver. It can be contracted through something as simple as contaminated standing water or soil.

The good news? There are ways to help protect your four-legged family members!

💉 Talk to your veterinarian about the Lepto vaccine.

🐾 Know the warning signs.

🩶 Help spread awareness by sharing this post! Protecting the dogs we love starts with education.

🎉🐾 **ORI GOT ADOPTED!** 🐾🎉

Ori officially found her forever home with Derek!

We’re SO happy for this sweet girl… although we do need to address the obvious issue here: **not a Detroit Lions jersey in sight.** 🦁🏈

Good thing she’s cute, because we’re willing to overlook this questionable fashion choice. 😂

Congratulations, Ori & Derek! 🩷🩷
