Racine Neighborhood Watch, Inc. Crime Prevention and Quality of Life in Neighborhoods Racine Neighborhood Watch Inc.

works to educate residents, beautify neighborhoods, connect local community resources, and contribute to the community’s well-being through our Neighborhood Watch meetings, programming, and events: we educate neighbors about effective crime prevention and how to deal with quality of life concerns; we help them establish Neighborhood Block Watches and provide trainings and support for neighborhood

block captains. We facilitate monthly meetings with neighbors and law enforcement at seven Community Oriented Policing houses (COP), located in formerly troubled areas, to keep the neighborhoods stable and safe; we help foster positive community-law enforcement relationships. In August, we coordinate nearly 60 events attended by over 6,000 people for “America’s Night Out against Crime,” National Night Out.

If you normally join us for meetings at the 16th St COP House, or either Mead St COP House, please join us at the Mt Pleasant COP House, 2237 Mead St, tomorrow night from 6 - 7 pm.

We want to hear from you. What are we doing well? What can we do better? What concerns do you have?

See you there!

We want to update the community regarding recent concerns about Neighborhood Watch. There have been questions about whether it was going away or being eliminated — we want to be clear: Neighborhood Watch is here to stay in the Racine community.

We are currently in the process of revamping and developing a stronger plan for the future. Our goal is to continue building a safer, more connected neighborhood for everyone.

Neighborhood Watch meetings will resume at the COP Houses starting May 4th. More updates and details will be shared soon.

The Board of Directors sincerely thanks you for your patience, support, and understanding during this time of transition.
