Sample unique soups, cast your vote for the People's Choice Award, and enjoy family fun. Entry for chefs is $30 and chefs can register by emailing Annie McVey at [email protected]. This year, we added 16 new HOPE Closets in Kanawha, Putnam, and Harrison Counties, bringing our total number of closets to 90.

In our Top 5 Items, we distributed:
→ 5,862 Deodorants
→ 4,880 Lip Balms
→ 3,917 Feminine Hygiene Products
→ 3,806 Body Washes
→ 2,341 Toothbrushes

⭐️ We provided Growing and Being Goodie Bags to 28 fourth, fifth, and sixth grade classes consisting of body wash, deodorant, lip balm, and bathing wipes.

⭐️ We distributed over 300 Community Care Kits this year. Our Community Care Kits are filled with toiletries such as a toothbrush and toothpaste, mouth wash, deodorant, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, and lip balm. We also have Community Care Kits geared towards women with pregnancy tests and peppermints to help with nausea. We added new care kits this year for our female clients with toiletries, feminine hygiene items, and a snack bar.

As we look forward to 2026, we hope to have your continual support.

This is our third year in a row at the Coalfields Community Health Fair in Beckley, WV! We handed out over 200 Community Care Kits and spoke with health fair attendees about our community outreach, Children’s Resource Center, HOPE Closets, and Harbor House.

A huge THANK YOU to City National Bank for hosting another successful toiletry drive for our HOPE Closets! We’ve been busy restocking our schools and these donations help us make positive impacts on students in Kanawha, Boone, Clay, Putnam, and Harrison Counties daily.
