Cancer Support Community Los Angeles is thrilled to welcome back Jason Kravits as our Host of the annual Gilda Gala on May 28th! Jason is a longtime friend and supporter of CSCLA. We can’t wait for another evening of laughs with Jason, and community support. We are thrilled to announce Actress, Activist and Bestselling Author, Annabelle Gurwitch, as the recipient of our Gilda Award at our Gilda Gala on May 28th! This award is presented in recognition for her work in advocacy for cancer awareness and prevention, named after the late Gilda Radner. Gilda came to Cancer Support Community- when it was called The Wellness Community- after being diagnosed with cancer, and was instrumental in spreading the word about our free programs and services for cancer patients and families.
The Gilda Award will be introduced by Laraine Newman- friend and fellow original cast member of Saturday Night Live (along with Gilda Radner). Plus! We are thrilled to have actor Jason Kravits as our host again this year.
Donations and ticket sales will help provide free mental health and wellness programs for people affected by cancer and their loved ones.
