🎉 Now THIS is how you head into your 75th anniversary!

We have officially earned CARF accreditation—and yes, that calls for a happy dance. Just ask Rob. 🕺😂

CARF accreditation is a big deal.

It means our services and operations have been independently evaluated against rigorous standards for quality, accountability, and person-centered care.

And as we prepare to celebrate 75 years of The Arc Prince George’s County in 2027, this recognition feels especially meaningful.

For nearly 75 years, families have trusted us. People with intellectual and developmental disabilities have counted on us. And generation after generation of dedicated employees has helped move our mission forward.

75 years later, we’re still raising the bar.

This accreditation belongs to every member of Team Arc who shows up every day determined to make a difference.

So, Rob…keep dancing. We have a LOT to celebrate. 🎉💙

"I don't know what I would have done without The Arc." 💜

As a single mother raising six children—including two with disabilities—Wendy knows the importance of having someone in your corner.

Through respite services at The Arc Prince George's County, she found the support her family needed and the chance to recharge so she could keep showing up for the people she loves.

As we celebrate 75 Years of Caring, we're honored to share Wendy's story as part of our 75 Stories of Possibility series.

A special thank you to the generous companies and community partners whose support makes stories like Wendy's possible.

Together, we're helping families reimagine what's possible.

💙 The countdown is on!

In just a few weeks, we'll celebrate the incredible Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who make inclusion, independence, and opportunity possible every day.

During DSP Appreciation Week (September 13–19), we'll be sharing stories, celebrating our team, and recognizing the compassion, dedication, and heart our DSPs bring to the people we support.

They are mentors. Advocates. Problem-solvers. Cheerleaders. Friends.

Most importantly, they help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live full, meaningful lives in the community.

Once a year in June, we hit pause and settle the biggest debate of the year:

🏆 Who will be the Musical Chairs Champion? 🪑🎶

We work hard every day to support people with disabilities—but we also believe the people doing that important work deserve to laugh, celebrate, and have fun together.

Because great workplaces aren't built on pizza parties.

They're built on great people who genuinely enjoy being part of the team.

We're hiring.

Come for the mission.
Stay for the people.
And maybe start stretching now for next year's Musical Chairs championship. 😄
