The Fluvanna County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (FSPCA) was founded in 1989 and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, animal welfare organization. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Fluvanna County's homeless, neglected, and abused dogs and cats. As a small, rural, open-intake shelter, we are proud to maintain a no-kill mission. The FSPCA also proudly serves as the

county's Public Animal Shelter for the Fluvanna community. The Staff collaborates with the Sheriff's Animal Control Officers by taking in and caring for strays and neglected pets, and helping to reunite lost pets with their loved ones. donations, fundraising events, volunteers, fosters) play an essential role in ensuring that the FSPCA is able to care for, rehabilitate, vaccinate, spay-neuter, and find homes for as many homeless pets as possible.

Meet Woodrow, not be mistaken for one of Staunton’s finest, but certainly one of Fluvanna’ s finest!

When he kindly sits for a treat, he looks so presidential 🇺🇸 and he can work the room for all the love and hand shakes! 🤝

Woody, to his friends (fur and human) gets so excited to show off his great leash skills. He takes treats so gently and đź’Ż aims to please!

Gracie went missing yesterday—she was last seen in the afternoon on Pine Lane in Fork Union.

She was recently groomed so her hair is short, no collar at the time. Roughly 13 lbs and 2-3 years old.
