The Bright Side of Main Street: Park Avenue Thrift Enid
What if your next thrift-store treasure could also help make your community a better place. That’s the idea behind Park Avenue Thrift.
Founded in 2007 by Paula Nightengale and David Hume, now with Executive Director Stela Jantzen, Park Avenue Thrift was created with a mission to strengthen Enid by turning donated items and thrift-store shopping into support for local nonprofits, schools, and community projects. And they’ve certainly put that mission into action! Since 2007, Park Avenue Thrift has given more than $5 million back to Enid, supporting organizations and projects that improve quality of life throughout our community.
Of course, you can still stop by and hunt for those hidden treasures! Clothing, furniture, books, vintage finds, home goods, toys, and so much more. But every purchase and every donation has a bigger purpose. When you shop at Park Avenue Thrift, you're not just getting a great deal. You're helping give back to Enid.
We appreciate Park Avenue Thrift for showing us what can happen when a local business makes a community its bottom line. Thank you to the entire Park Avenue Thrift team, its donors, shoppers, volunteers, and supporters for continuing to invest in the people and organizations that make Enid such a special place to live. Shop. Donate. Empower your community.
That’s the Bright Side of Main Street!
