HEALTH OUTREACH BUS

A.L.O.T. Provide meals for the Health Outreach Bus while it provides medical, case management, and hospitality services to a variety of Chicago communities specifically for the un-housed youth. The Bus operates 6 days a week. A.L.O.T. provide meals alongside the Outreach Bus for 75 + people. We meet the Bus at the stop and serve in Hot weather, rain, sleet, ice or snow. Sometimes drop food off at the main office for staff to distribute if we cant serve that day. Sack suppers are our most common meals we provide with bottled water along with homemade hot soups and warmer meal options i.e. chili, Spagehitti or barbecue Hot dogs and hamburgers with homemade side dishes and deserts we serve alongside the bus; we also passed out hats, gloves, scarfs and book bags full of school supplies, blankets and hand and foot warmers.)

THE CRIB

The Crib provides young adults ages 18 through 24 with safe and supportive overnight emergency shelter, as well as life and leadership development skills. The Crib is able to house 25 guests 365 nights of the year. Open 7 nights a week from 9 pm to 9 am. A.L.O.T.'S generosity supports and is one of the meal donors; we provide breakfast and dinner over the weekend for 50 + guest. We plan a meal, buy the groceries, prepare the meal at our own location, bring the food to The Crib, and serve cafeteria-style. Guests have the opportunity to eat good Homemade food prepared from our chefs Jay Word, Jarrod Hunter and Stacey Brantley, get a good night’s sleep, be part of a community, shower, do laundry, and share safe and affirming space. We donate underwear, socks, gloves scarfs and hats, Book bags with school supplies and blankets.

Team share, share share...every time someone listens we get money and it adds up... our goal by the end of next year I pray is to raise $100,000. If we have so many hits we can be nominated for the Stella's and or Grammys. Our other goal is to be top on Billboard and internet radio. I'm working hard to get the Marketing done before Christmas This can really help us get noticed and funded by donors. The actually CD will be ready in a week or so they are backed up. Hopefully soon u will have a links where they can purchase it! 🙏🙏🙏

Our next feeding event will be Sunday December 3rd 2023 with the Night Ministry Outreach bus 5pm ( time may change) and drop off food to The Crib.

Outreach bus ( This is an outdoor event so dress warm) - possible 100- 150 Children and families; there is another group that is feeding at the tables so we will pass out goodie bags, fruit, Hat & Gloves down the line - we are also partnering with the Black family who is spear heading the Goodie bags

Suggested Goodie bags filled with the following...
Packaged in Gallon zip lock bags

-Lunchables
- Small Sanitizers
- Candies
- Cookies
- small bottled water
- Christian insert ( daily bread or Salvation card)( Larry Taylor said he would print out 150 for us.)
- Separately we will pass out Hat and gloves for women, Children and men.
- Separately we will pass out Fruit

*Black Family will prepare 65 Goodie bags
* Pierre & Stacey will prepare 30 Goodie bags
* The goal is 150 so we have 55 bags left to complete

The Crib feeding is a drop off location for 25 youth but we prepare food for 50 so they can have extra food and also some requested the dinner food for breakfast because it was soo good prepared by Chef Jason word.

- We need pound cakes and Chritmas desserts
- I have 2 Turkeys

I am renting a Van so we can meet at one location and ride together ❤️ we can load all of the food and US!! Parking at the location is limited.

I also will have hand warmers and feet warmers
All participants must wear our safety vest for the Outreach bus Feeding of course for safety reasons
Thank you Pierre, he is going to add the A.L.O.T. Logo. We will.collect them at the end of the feeding to recycle them for the next feeding. We are also having Tee-shirts made for other events. Please see Feeding Coordinator Jarrod Hunter to place your order with your correct size so Pierre can make the shirts in a timely matter.

May the Lord give us more than we expect to feed His people that are in need!!

*** Please confirm if you are participating in the out door feeding with Ashley Williams or Jarrod Hunter so that we can have an accurate count. We will pass out food Rain, sleet or Snow. Make sure you have ponchos if needed for Rain.***
