More investment in Bay County!

Garfield Township is moving forward with plans for a new emergency services facility, strengthening local infrastructure and public safety. With construction expected to begin in November, the project also presents opportunities for local contractors to get involved.

The pre-engineered steel building will include offices, apparatus bays, and a service bay, with substantial completion expected by September 2027.

These studies provide a closer look at current conditions, development opportunities and recommendations that can help guide future investment, infrastructure and economic growth.

Planning for future growth starts with understanding where the opportunities are today.

Bay Future, Inc. brought together community stakeholders to hear the findings and recommendations from four corridor studies completed by Plante Moran Realpoint.

The studies looked at current conditions and future economic development opportunities within four key districts across Bay County. The findings will help communities and local leaders better understand challenges, identify opportunities and make more informed decisions about future development, infrastructure, investment and growth.
