Fast forward 20 years, and you need a car, and you only have a thousand doll

ars. That’s the time when you need to know almost as much as a mechanic to make a safe car purchase. Used cars are sold with underlying mechanical issues. Deep engine and transmission problems can even be disguised with heavy lubricants that give the engine a little more life. That’s why many cars go bad right after they have been sold. Vehicles can also have a host of undercarriage problems that cost thousands of dollars to repair. Struts, rocker arms, ball joints, tie rods, muffler systems, cracked frames, and many other issues can run in the hundreds and even thousands to repair. Some of these issues may be relatively minor, and repair might require changing one part. But a dishonest repairman could exploit a lack of knowledge and charge for a complete replacement system. This happens all the time, and women fall into this trap far too s For Women Veterans program gifts vehicles with a clean title of ownership, and we even pay taxes, title and registration. All vehicles are new to late models from our partner dealer’s inventory. The vehicles are no more than three years old and still under warranty: this will help eliminate repair bills until the donee has gained some level of financial stability. We feel that a good running vehicle is essential in the formula for stabilizing the family structure, and we are committed to making a difference in the lives of the people that have stepped up to serve in our military. Our fundraiser is proud to take on this ambitious effort. New to late model vehicles are not cheap. This is what distinguishes Veterans Drive from other charities that gift vehicles; our vehicles are new or in new condition. Also, the cars are no more than three years old with low mileage. All vehicles have a drive-train warranty at the time of donation. By participating in our Vehicles for Veterans Program, you’ll be one of our cherished vehicle donors. You can be listed on our donor list or you can remain anonymous. Either way, it’s a win-win for a great cause!
