What does a community foundation do? It's a complex question because we do a lot of different things! For example, every August staff at HAF+WRCF distribute annual payouts. This year $1.3 million went out to 126 grantees from funds that have a set annual distribution. Some of our oldest funds date back to the 1970s, meaning the organizations and causes they were created to support get a consistent annual payout year after year, decade after decade. It's a lot of work for staff, but thankfully we have our CCSS (Chief Canine Snack Supervisor) Mochi to keep things on track.

Fall is right around the corner and NCF is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for our 2026 Fall Grant Cycle through October 15! 🍂

Please visit our Grants page at tinyurl.com/ncfgrants to learn more and to determine if you or your project are eligible to apply.

If you are interested in applying, your first step is to reach out to us! This can be done through either an email ([email protected]) or a phone call (707-267-9906).

Please note that we are a small (but mighty!) team, so we recommend reaching out sooner rather than later. We look forward to hearing more about your work and helping guide you through the application process.
