It's time to dedicate our newest Mark Twain Area Habitat for Humanity House and celebrate our Supporters, Donors, and Volunteers. Wednesday December 10th 5-7 pm.

The Habitat House is really coming along. Lots of progress. The home dedication is scheduled for December 10th at 5pm. Thanks to the Hannibal Jaycees for sponsoring the ceiling fans for the house at the last minute. There have been a lot of sponsors and volunteers. We will be honoring volunteers at the dedication. Come by and see. More to come.

Habitat house has come along way. Now that it’s enclosed all of the electric and plumbing has been completed, and the walls are now drywalled. The outside siding, soffit and facia is going up and very soon It’s going to be time for painting inside the house, followed by flooring and carpet.  a lot of hard work by a lot of dedicated volunteers to get the house this far, especially with a little bit of a late start due to the weather.

The Habit house is under roof and has the new windows installed. Once it’s enclosed more work on the interior can begin.

The regular Habitat work crew will begin Framing Walls for the house on Friday July 11th at 9am. The Location is 8th and Lyon street in Hannibal. Work will continue each weekday weather permitting. Darrell or Tom will be leading the work crews. All help is appreciated.
