All People's Pantry Free food for all people. In 2024, we provided food to nearly 700 households whose members originated from 38 different countries.

We are a culturally inclusive food pantry founded in 2022 to provide our immigrant and refugee neighbors with access to culturally specific foods that often can’t be found at other food banks and pantries in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro.

Look for the helpers!

LOOK FOR THE HELPERS:
In times of fear and uncertainty, Mr. Rogers taught us to "look for the helpers" to find hope. When your world feels heavy, you have an opportunity to respond with compassion and action.

5 Ways to help local immigrants:
➡️ Buy food items for All People's Pantry
➡️ Volunteer as a CIRA Center for Immigrant and Refugee Advancement ESL Conversation Partner
➡️ Start a monthly gift for a nonprofit serving immigration needs
➡️ Be an Lutheran Family Services Refugee and Immigration Service volunteer
➡️ Send an item from Latino Center of the Midlands wish list

URGENT: Change your SNAP EBT Card PIN! Between yesterday and today, over 50 refugee families in Omaha have had their SNAP money stolen due to credit card skimmer machines placed around the city. DHHS confirmed today that the best way to protect your SNAP funds is to CHANGE YOUR PIN! We have instructions on how to do this on our website: rdomaha.org/ebt. We will keep this page updated as we learn more information.

DHHS, Omaha Police Department and the FBI are working together to try to remove the skimmers. However, the card numbers and pins that have already been collected are all at risk! Change your PIN right now if you have a SNAP EBT card. Please share with your friends and family!

For families who have lost their January SNAP grocery money, we have a list of food pantries (translated in 17 languages) on our website: rdomaha.org/food.
