“Hey mom, I need your copy of Midnight.” Me sipping my coffee, “Why?” “We are reading it in English. I could just watch the movie.” “Oh the book is so much better.” I got I know from him. “Remember I re-read this every year don’t lose it.”

We then had a discussion on how Savannah has changed and how when I started in hospitality management, I made everyone read “The Book” to understand the beast they were managing and working with. I still make concierges I train read “The Book” because every now and then you will get that one person who asks,”Is page 167 (whatever number) true?” Mind you I was 3 when this happened and lived in a different state.
