IMMEDIATE FOSTER TO ADOPT HOME NEEDED FOR KUMA FROM CHICAGO, ILLINOIS!!
Say hello to Kuma a 6 year old, neutered male wheaten terrier from Chicago, Illinois. At heart, Kuma is a sensitive soul. His family now lives in the heart of downtown Chicago and he is surrounded by trains, sirens, traffic, construction, just about every sound imaginable that could rattle a nervous dog. He spent his early years in suburban Seattle and city life has just been overwhelming for him. He is deeply loved, but his family wants to give him the chance to get back to the Kuma that loved exploring outside, roaming his backyard and snuggling with his favorite people. Kuma is a nervous dog especially around new people. Kuma is a "covid pet" so he was not well socialized when he was a puppy. He is well trained, attended obedience school, and does great with other dogs at daycare and boarding.
We are looking for a special home for Kuma that is willing to give him time to decompress and become the family dog he so wants to be. We are looking for a home that is in the suburbs or in a smaller town situation, not in the heart of the city. If you would like to be considered for Kuma, please go to our website at www.wheatenterrierrescue.org and fill out an Adoption Application. Once it has been submitted, email [email protected] and let me know of your interest. To be considered for Kuma you must have no other male dogs living in the home, no children under the age of 6 living in the home, a securely fenced yard that he will be free to roam in, and the ability to pick him up from his current location.

UPDATE: THANK YOU EVERYONE, SHE HAS BEEN PLACED!!!

IMMEDIATE FOSTER TO ADOPT HOME NEEDED FOR HONEY FROM THOMPSONS STATION, TENNESSEE!!! Honey is a 7 year old female wheaten terrier/poodle mix who is looking for a new home. Her family recently moved to a new home and feel that she would do best in a home with a yard. Her surrendering owner says she is housetrained, crate trained, good with children and loves other dogs. She will chase cats or small animals if given the chance. She is spayed and current on all vaccines. Honey is currently on Apoquel for allergies. She will sometimes have an excited p*e moment when visitors come calling!! If you are wondering, Thompsons Station is about 45 minutes south of Nashville, Tennessee.
