During National Rehabilitation Awareness Week, LeadingAge Iowa recognizes the rehabilitation professionals and aging services teams who help older adults regain strength, independence, confidence, and quality of life.

Every step forward can represent an important milestone, from rebuilding mobility and communication skills to supporting recovery and helping individuals return to the activities that matter most to them.

This week, we celebrate the therapists, rehabilitation nurses, physicians, caregivers, and support professionals whose expertise and encouragement help older adults move forward every day. Thank you to our members and rehabilitation teams across Iowa for the work you do to support older adults and the communities you serve.
