🎉 This October marks two years since the Plymouth Supply Center opened its doors!

The Supply Center is a welcoming storefront where Plymouth residents can access household essentials and other items for themselves and their homes, free of charge.

And the impact continues to grow:

🏠 230 residents served each month
🤝 1,500 volunteer hours
🧺 30,000+ items distributed this year alone
đź’™ $45 in average savings per visit

For residents living on extremely limited incomes, $9,000 annually on average, access to everyday essentials can ease financial stress and make room to focus on other goals.

As we celebrate two years, you can help carry this impact forward! Through Oct. 31, our Fresh Start Fall Supply Drive is collecting essentials and home goods to keep the Plymouth Supply Center stocked for the season ahead.

🍂 Drop off items or shop our online wish list: https://plymouthhousing.org/PSC

Thank you to the supporters, partners and volunteers who have helped make the Plymouth Supply Center what it is today!

A big thank you to Expedia for including Plymouth Housing in their Month of Caring! đź’™

Expedia Group volunteers joined us for three meal services at Plymouth buildings, sharing good food with residents while supporting our community.

Creating places where residents can feel a sense of belonging and connection as they recover and rebuild after homelessness takes all of us. We’re grateful for partners who show up, give their time, and help make moments like these possible. Thank you, Expedia Group, for spending your Month of Caring with Plymouth!

As we wrap up National Recovery Month, we’re reflecting on the many paths recovery can take and the people who keep showing up along the way.

After experiencing homelessness for six years, Carmen moved into her Plymouth apartment in 2024. With a stable home and support from staff, neighbors, and her community, she found the space to focus on her health and recovery.

Every day Carmen went without using drugs, she placed a sticker on her door. Soon, she realized she wasn’t the only one counting. Her case manager, Angela, was keeping track, too, and reminding Carmen how far she had come.

Today, Carmen has been substance free for more than a year and alcohol free for three years.

“Today I am the best version of myself I’ve been,” Carmen said. “I love my life and I love myself.”

More than 1,100 supporters. More than $1.5 million raised. One incredible afternoon. 🔑

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Key to Hope: Home Changes Everything and showed up for Plymouth residents and our mission.

Bestselling author Cheryl Strayed delivered a moving keynote reflecting on resilience, healing, and the courage to begin again. Her words echoed a message we returned to throughout the afternoon: Our hardest moments do not define the rest of our story, and compassion can create space for hope and possibility.

Guests also heard from emcee Leid, Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson, event Co-Chairs Andrew DeVore of Amazon and Ruby Love of Love Resource Development Group, Plymouth CEO Karen Lee, and Lead Behavioral Health Case Manager Astro Pittman.

One of the afternoon’s most heartfelt moments came from Plymouth resident Thomas Ii, who shared his gratitude for his home and the Plymouth community before picking up his ukulele and performing for the room.

Together, these moments were a powerful reminder of what becomes possible when people have a home, a community that believes in them, and the support to move forward. We're deeply grateful to everyone who attended, gave and helped make Key to Hope possible. Your partnership helps Plymouth continue providing homes and individualized support for neighbors who have experienced chronic homelessness. 🏠❤️

“You don’t need to understand every aspect of the problem to have an impact.”

Andrew DeVore, VP of Enterprise Risk at Amazon, Plymouth Housing Board Member and Key to Hope Co-Chair, knows that addressing homelessness takes all of us. In this message, he shares why partnership with organizations like Plymouth matters and how each of us can take action.

You can still join us at Key to Hope this Wednesday, September 23, and be part of the impact.

A big thank you to our partners at Environmental Works for spending the day volunteering at Plymouth Housing’s Pacific Apartments! 🌱💛

The Environmental Works team helped care for the outdoor spaces by clearing leaves and weeds, planting flowers and produce, and putting up bird feeders for residents to enjoy.

Environmental Works is also the architectural firm working with Plymouth on our new Redmond building, so we were excited to welcome their team to another part of the Plymouth community. Partners who invest their time and care in our buildings help create welcoming places where residents can feel at home and thrive.

Thank you, Environmental Works, for volunteering with Plymouth and supporting our residents!

✨ We recently came together to celebrate the incredible volunteers who give their time, talents, and care to the Plymouth Housing community.

From supporting events and supply drives to spending time with residents, our volunteers play an important role in helping create connection and a sense of belonging.

This year, we were proud to recognize Alyssa Sheeres, Fred Ward, and Digital Aid Seattle, with our Plymouth Pillar Awards, honoring their outstanding commitment to Plymouth residents and our community. đź’›

Thank you to all of our volunteers who continue to show up with heart. Your generosity helps make homes, healing, and hope possible for our neighbors.

We had a great time connecting with our neighbors at this year’s Move Redmond Open Streets Festival! 🏠❤️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Plymouth Housing table to say hello and learn more about our work. We’re grateful to be part of the Redmond community and excited to continue making connections as we look ahead to opening our new Redmond building in early 2027. Located downtown, the building will provide 100 new homes with supportive services for neighbors recovering from homelessness on the Eastside.

Thank you, Move Redmond, for bringing the community together!
