FLASH UPDATE! 115 POUNDS OF LOVE LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!

Meet Flash! This 115-pound hunk of Boxer love is looking for a family to call his own, and trust me, he has SO much love to give!

Flash may be a big boy, but underneath all those pounds is a big old’ softie who just wants to be loved. He’s dreaming of a family of his own, complete with some fur siblings to hang out with!

A few things to know about this handsome guy:

We’re working on his skin issues! Flash has some allergies and skin irritation, but with the help of antibiotics and an allergy shot, we’re working on getting everything under control.

Stairs aren't really his thing. Flash doesn't do stairs right now, but with some patience, encouragement, and a few tasty treats, he might be willing to tackle a flight. We believe in positive reinforcement and letting him go at his own pace!

He's okay sleeping on his own. This big guy doesn't need to be glued to your side 24/7, even though he certainly wouldn't mind having his own people to love!

He's a BIG baby when it comes to scary things! The vacuum? TERRIFYING. Strange noises? Absolutely not. His own shadow? Apparently, also suspicious.

Seriously, though, it's a good reminder that even the biggest dogs can be scared of the silliest things. Flash will need a family willing to give him patience, reassurance, and time to build his confidence.

What Flash really wants: A family who will love him for who he is, help him navigate the scary stuff, and give him the chance to be somebody's beloved dog. A home with furry siblings would be a wonderful bonus!

Flash doesn't need to be perfect. He just needs someone willing to see the amazing dog underneath the nervous moments, the skin issues, and those 115 pounds of adorable Boxer.

He's got the size, the squishy Boxer face, and ALL the love in the world to give. Now he just needs someone to give him a chance.

💗 PATSY UPDATE — THIS SWEET GIRL IS READY FOR HER FOREVER HOME! 💗

Just look at that face! 🥰 Patsy is an absolute sweetheart, and her foster family says she is a joy to have around. She’s settling in beautifully and showing everyone what a wonderful little Boxer she is!

🐾 Here’s what Patsy’s foster family wants you to know:

💕 House trained and crate trained! She’s doing great in her foster home.

💕 A BIG kisser! If you love Boxer kisses, Patsy is your girl!

💕 Fun and playful! She loves doing zoomies around the yard, chasing squirrels, and playing with her toys. Her favorite? Her little stuffed lamb! 🐑

💕 A smart cookie! Patsy knows how to sit and give paw when she wants a treat—or simply wants your attention!

💕 A happy, affectionate girl! She has so much love to give and is ready to find someone who will make her part of the family.

Patsy is just 1½ years old, so she still has plenty of youthful energy. She would thrive in an active home where she can be the ONLY dog and where any children are 10 years or older. Her compatibility with cats is unknown.

Some of our wonderful volunteers are selling delicious Crumb Cakes to friends, family & co-workers.
If you know someone that is selling, we hope you support us by making a purchase.

They come in 4 flavors and will be picked up from the Bakery on November 7th.
They can be frozen if you prefer to indulge at a later time.

🎉 LOTTIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!! 🎉

We are so happy to announce that Lottie has found her forever home! ❤️🐾

Lottie has been adopted by a wonderful family who has adopted from NJBR before, so we already know she will be loved, spoiled, and cared for just as she deserves! And it gets even better… Lottie gets THREE little brothers and a kitty to share her new life with! 🐶🐶🐶🐱💕

Thank you to all the amazing volunteers who helped Lottie begin this next chapter of her journey. And a very special thank-you to her family for coming back to NJ Boxer Rescue for their next Boxer! There is nothing better than seeing our NJBR family grow, one adoption at a time. 🏡❤️

❤️🐾 **GUESS WHO’S LOOKING FOR LOVE? OLIVER!** 🐾❤️

Hey there!!! How are you? Are you looking for a super cuddly, affectionate best friend? Well, let me introduce myself… I’m Oliver, the **LEEEEEANING BOXER!** 😂❤️

If you pet me, I’ll lean to the left… I’ll lean to the right… and before you know it, I’ll be leaning right into your heart! I just LOVE being close to my people, soaking up all the affection, and making sure you know you have a friend by your side. 🥰

But wait… there’s MORE! I’m not just a handsome cuddle bug. I’m a pretty smart boy, too! I’m housebroken, I know *sit* and *stay*, and I’ll even give you my paw. How sweet is that?!

When I’m not busy collecting pets and cuddles, I love playing with my fluffy doggy sibling and running laps around the yard. I also have a little human brother whom I adore. I’m gentle with him, especially when he shares those yummy treats! And guess what? My foster mom says I like cats, too! 🐶🐱

I’m also a great walking buddy! I walk nicely on my leash and love getting out to explore the world with my favorite person.

🐾 INTRODUCING BURT!! 🐾

This poor boy was running loose until the ACO (Animal Control Officer) finally managed to catch him. Just look at how skinny he is! It’s heartbreaking to think about how long Burt may have been fending for himself. 💔

To make matters worse, Burt had a huge growth in his mouth, which thankfully has already been removed. We are so grateful that he is now safe and getting the care he deserves.

Burt, your new life starts TODAY! ❤️ From here on out, it’s about full bellies, warm beds, love, and finally knowing you are safe.

Burt is settling into his foster home, and guess what? His foster family says he has been the PERFECT houseguest! He is doing great with his foster siblings, and we’ve already learned that this handsome boy is both house-trained and crate-trained! What a great start! 🐶

We are just getting to know Burt and will share more about him as we learn about his personality and what makes him special. For now, we are thrilled that he is safe and getting a second chance at the life every dog deserves.

💙🚨 HANK NEEDS A FOSTER HOME NOW — CAN YOU HELP SAVE HIM? 🚨💙

Hank is waiting for someone to step up, and without a foster home, we cannot bring him into rescue. We have no open foster homes for him, and we desperately want to keep him from having to go into a kennel.

WE NEED A FOSTER FOR HANK! 🙏

Hank was living with Dottie, who we recently introduced, and he is also in need of a new home. His family needs help, and we want to be there for him, but we cannot do it alone. We need someone willing to open their home and give this boy a safe place to land.

💙 MEET HANK!

His mom was a purebred Boxer, and his dad was a purebred Hound. He has that adorable Boxer wiggle, complete with a wiggly little nub, and is a happy, typical Boxer boy!

Here are some wonderful things about Hank:

🐾 He has lived with children as young as 6 years old.
🐾 He can live with other dogs.
🐾 At just 2+ years old, he has so much life and love ahead of him!

Meet Dottie, a gorgeous, petite Boxer girl who proves that age is just a number! 🐾 At 7 years old, this little lady still has plenty of s***k and energy!

🎾 Dottie loves to play ball and run around the yard. She came to us from a home where she lived with young children and a male dog, so we already know a little about her background.

We have a temporary foster home for Dottie, but we'd love to find her a foster or forever home where she can settle in and enjoy her next chapter. ❤️

❤️ MEET MOLLY — FOSTER HOME NEEDED! ❤️

This beautiful girl needs our help, and we are hoping someone out there can open their heart and home to her! 🐾

Meet Molly, a stunning 2-year-old Boxer who needs a fresh start.
Shortly after reaching adulthood, Molly began fighting with the other dogs in her home. Unfortunately, dog-to-dog conflicts can develop as some Boxers mature, and for the safety and well-being of everyone in the household, her family has made the difficult decision to find her a new home. We are grateful that her owner reached out to NJ Boxer Rescue for help. Now, we need YOUR help to give Molly the future she deserves!

🌟 A LITTLE ABOUT MOLLY:

💕 Absolutely gorgeous!
🎾 A typical high-energy Boxer who loves her toys.
💋 Loves giving kisses!
🍪 Takes treats nicely and will sit for them.
🏃‍♀️ Can jump a 5-foot fence, so a secure yard is a MUST!

When we went to meet Molly, she was very nervous and stayed close to her mom. It took a little time for her to feel comfortable, but before long, we were getting kisses and watching her sit nicely for treats. She will need someone who understands that big changes can be scary and who is willing to give her the time, patience, and reassurance she needs to settle in.

🏡 WHAT MOLLY NEEDS:

❤️ A foster home with NO OTHER DOGS OR CATS.
❤️ A family with children is welcome.
❤️ Someone who works from home or is home most of the day to help her adjust.
❤️ A securely fenced yard with a 6-foot fence — Molly is an impressive jumper!
❤️ A patient person willing to help her learn a new routine.

Molly is familiar with a doggie door, which would be a big plus in her new home. Depending on her setup, she may need some housetraining support, and she will need to learn to feel comfortable in a crate. Her owner reports that she does well when left loose in the home as long as she has toys to keep her occupied.

💔 Molly is loved by her family, especially the children she lives with. This isn't an easy decision for them, but they want what is best for everyone. Now, Molly needs a chance to begin a new chapter with someone who can give her the safe, loving environment she needs.
