We are grateful to our presenters, volunteers, and attendees for sharing their time, expertise, and commitment to supporting low-income tenants and strengthening housing stability across our community. We appreciate everyone who helped make the seminar possible and look forward to continuing this work together in the year ahead!
We'd like to give a special shout out to this year's VLN Housing Award winners, whose dedication and impact show us what sustained advocacy and service looks like in action. We are so proud to celebrate your contributions!
VLN Housing Volunteer of the Year Award Winner: Jeremy Greenhouse
Jeremy Greenhouse (pictured far right in both images in the bottom row above) brings deep commitment, skill, and care to every client he serves. In 2025, he volunteered nearly 60 hours, supported 58 clients, and consistently stepped up, often taking on multiple advice shifts each month. Over the years, he’s helped hundreds of tenants navigate complex housing issues with clarity and compassion.
VLN Housing Firm of the Year Award Winner: Fredrikson
Fredrikson shows what it looks like when a firm truly embraces pro bono service. In 2025, their team of volunteers, led by Katy Drahos, Erin Wehrli, and Beverly Skulratana, contributed over 320 volunteer hours, served more than 200 clients, and staffed 64 housing clinics, making up nearly a quarter of all Hennepin clinic shifts. The collective impact of their dedicated volunteers is remarkable, and we’re proud to recognize Fredrikson as our Housing Firm of the Year. Christian Hokans (pictured far left in both images in the bottom row above) accept the award on behalf of Fredrikson.
