Help Us Meet the Growing Need for Food in Our Community!

Demand at MCC's Food Pantry continues to rise. In 2025, we served 25% more individuals than the year before, and today we're helping approximately 1,900 families each month.

Your company or organization can make a difference by hosting a food drive! Every donation helps us provide nutritious food to Milwaukee neighbors facing food insecurity.

Interested in organizing a drive? Contact Sharon at [email protected] or 414-902-5385 for more information

Drea Rodriguez of the Historic Mitchell Street neighborhood writes in an opinion piece about the importance of supporting community organizers, who help engage residents across the city.

“Organizers connect families with resources, listen to concerns and help neighbors become leaders. For many, this work is more than a job. It’s a way of life.”

Amir, one of our YouthBuild members, had the opportunity to participate in a youth panel at the Bader Philanthropies Hope Summit last week.

He shared how YouthBuild has helped create hope by giving him the opportunity to learn new skills, work alongside caring mentors, and gain hands-on experience in the trades.

“I wanted to learn technical skills. And I have learned so much more math, so much technical detail, like in setting up a stringer for stairs, than I had thought I would. And our site supervisors Cam and Eric, were so patient with all of us learning and making mistakes”

We’re grateful for opportunities like this that give young people space to reflect on their growth, share their experiences, and see just how far they’ve come.
