Our Norway Ventures Day Program recently hiked Bradbury Mountain for a day of fresh air, teamwork, and beautiful views. After rain the night before, the trails were a little muddy, but that didn't stop the fun! Everyone embraced the adventure, reached the summit, and made some unforgettable memories.

Residents from our Madison programs recently enjoyed a day at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston. One resident checked off a long-term goal of seeing the hippos in person, making the trip especially meaningful. Even with the summer heat, everyone had a wonderful time exploring the zoo and creating lasting memories together.

Experiences like these help make dreams a reality, and we can't wait to plan our next adventure!

Our clients at Norway Ventures Day Program had so much fun creating these one-of-a-kind "Spice Trucks" for Father's Day! Each handmade truck holds homemade spice rubs, making it the perfect gift for the father figures in our lives. Everyone had a great time bringing these creative gifts to life.

Our team of athletes put in 12 weeks of hard work leading up to the games—and it truly showed!

We brought 9 incredible athletes to compete earlier this month, and their dedication paid off. Together, they earned 1 gold medal, 4 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal!
We are beyond proud of these athletes, not just for their performance, but for the growth, determination, and teamwork they showed every step of the way.

A huge thank you to our amazing coaches and staff for their unwavering support, and to the families who cheered them on throughout this journey. We couldn’t have done it without you!

At the end of May, our Norway Ventures Day Program hosted a magical Prom night at Brookside Station! Clients and staff transformed the space with handmade stars and moons, creating a special setting for an evening of fun, dancing, and celebration. Here are a few memorable photos to share!

Last week, the New Communities ID North team strengthened their fire safety skills with hands-on practice using fire extinguishers. A special thank you to the Skowhegan Fire Department for joining us and helping make this training both informative and engaging!

Earth Day in Action! Our Madison Ventures Day Program joined a community cleanup in Madison and Skowhegan, helping care for the trails and roads we use every day, collecting two bags of trash along the way.

Another group explored the Viles Arboretum, enjoying the trails and learning about the many plants and trees. A great day of giving back and getting outdoors.

We’re still smiling about this special day!

Our Norway Day Program celebrated Valentine’s Day with a party full of dancing, treats, and lots of smiles.

We also marked an exciting milestone, their 1-year anniversary of opening! Thank you to Katherine’s Bakery & Cafe in Norway for the beautiful and delicious cake that made the celebration even sweeter.

Spring may be here, but we’re still smiling about this winter day!

On February 21st, our Ventures Day Program in Norway enjoyed a snowy adventure visiting the Ice Castles with residents. The winter weather made it even more magical, and everyone had such a great time exploring and making memories together!

Last week, we celebrated the season with cookies, conversation, and plenty of creativity at our Ventures Day Program in Norway. Everyone enjoyed spending time together before making their own ornaments to take home. We also loved seeing the festive decorations they helped create. A joyful part of the holiday season here at New Communities.
