Your mom may not be your best customer... Your loved ones might share your posts, make an introduction, celebrate a milestone, or simply keep encouraging you, and all of that support matters. Your job is to keep learning who actually needs what you offer, what problems they are trying to solve, and how your business can reach more of those people.

You do not need one big “this is it” moment to know an idea is worth pursuing. Sometimes the better sign is seeing people respond to an early version, realizing there is a problem that still needs a better solution, and recognizing that you understand the customer because you are close to the problem yourself.

That early traction gives you something to learn from. Pay attention to who is interested, what they respond to, and whether the opportunity is strong enough to keep building. Your first version does not have to be perfect. It needs to teach you something.
