Tuesday: 10 am to 5 pm
Wednesday: 10 am to 5pm

Saturday: 9 am to 12 pm

Please be aware that the road near the Highgate Library & Community Center is currently one-way. We kindly ask all drivers to use extra caution when traveling through the area and to watch for pedestrians entering and leaving the library.

Tomorrow we kick off summer reading! The event is open all day to pop in but don't miss the 2-3:30PM Puppet show! The Traveling Storyteller presents 3 Little Bears!
Join us for all day activities, book giveaways and of course the puppet show!

Summer Meals!!

You can pick up 14 free meals for each of your kids every week between June 18 and August 21! These free meal boxes are available to all children under the age of 18 and can be picked up at the following places and times weekly:

-Highgate Elementary, 219 Gore Rd. Highgate
Thursdays 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM

-Swanton Central School, Bushey St. Bus Loop, Swanton
Fridays 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM

-Sheldon Food Shelf, 52 Church St. Sheldon
Fridays 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

📢 Notice: Temporary Backyard Closure

Please note that the library backyard is still closed, our back yard improvements are taking longer than expected we will let you know as soon as it's open.

We appreciate your patience as we work to make this space even better for our community. During this time, access to the backyard, including outdoor play areas and activities, will be unavailable.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back once construction is complete!
