He even has a new sister named Daisy, a sweet Beagle, to share all the fun with! 🐾 And what a way to kick off his new life: on the way home, Marley got to visit beautiful Yosemite National Park with his new family! 🏞️❤️

🐾 PUDGE UPDATE: LIVING THE GOOD LIFE! ❤️🌿

Pudge is loving life with his forever family! His family recently shared these photos of him enjoying the great outdoors: from exploring the rocks by the river to playing ball on the grass, and taking in the beautiful autumn views.

His new dad says they’re still working on potty training, and Pudge is making great progress! He’s a wonderful dog, and we’re so happy to see him enjoying his new life surrounded by love, nature, and his forever family.

Thank you to Pudge’s family for the lovely photos and update! We love seeing our rescue dogs thriving in their forever homes.

💔 How is this handsome boy STILL waiting for someone to choose him? 💔

Meet Ranger. 🐾❤️

This sweet, playful 3–4-year-YOUNG boy loves chasing balls, making dog friends, and sharing his happy spirit with everyone around him. 🎾🐶

He may be missing an eye, but he’s not missing a single bit of heart. He’s handsome, loving, full of life, good with other dogs, and has SO much love to give.

🐾❤️ MEET MARLEY, THE LITTLE LOVE BUG! ❤️🐾

Just look at this handsome boy! At 4 years old and 22 lbs, Marley is the perfect little companion who wants to be close to his people.

Marley may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time and patience, and you’ll discover the sweetest love bug. He’s a staff favorite, and while we’ll be so sad to see him go, nothing would make us happier than seeing him find the fabulous forever home he deserves.

Marley isn’t asking for much. He just wants to hang out with you, be near you, and feel like he belongs. Once he starts to feel comfortable, his loving personality shines through. He’s the kind of boy who will make you feel special simply because he chooses to be by your side.

This handsome Cocker Spaniel came to the shelter as an owner surrender, and the shelter environment was understandably overwhelming for him. Now he’s getting a fresh start in Jamestown, CA, where he’s had the chance to decompress and show everyone what a special little guy he is. He's also good with other dogs. ❤️

His original introduction video reached 25K views, but now we need something even better than views for Marley. We need his person to see him.

🐾 HAPPY TAILS: PUDGE HAS BEEN ADOPTED! ❤️🏡

We are so happy to share an update from Pudge’s new forever family! This sweet boy is settling into his new home beautifully, enjoying his five acres, making new friends, and bonding with his humans. Even the car rides haven’t dampened his spirits!

Here’s what his new family had to say:

"Pudge Update. He doesn't like car rides. ;-) Threw up twice on the way home. My wife slept with him in the other room. I got up early, opened the door, and he growled at me in protect mode. But I think he won't do that anymore after today. Last night he met our cat. No issues. We hiked this morning on leash. No issues. He didn't like the 5-minute car ride to the river, though. 😃 He knows our 5 acres already. Met two other neighbor dogs. He knows where to get a good meal. 😃 Very well adapted already. Bonded to both of us now. comes when we call him. He is extremely happy. Got him a name tag with phone number today. We will give him his first bath tonight. He seems to be super smart, and has adapted just about as well as a dog could. I worked with him on many things already. He learns quickly. So...in summary, I think everyone is very happy. He gets a little steak reward tonight. 😃 Thanks."

💦🐾 BETTY IS STILL WAITING FOR HER FOREVER HOME 🐾💦

Just look at that face! 😍 Betty is making the most of one of those last warm days of summer, cooling off in her little kiddie pool with her tongue out and enjoying life. 💕 She is such a sweet girl, and she deserves to be enjoying moments like this with her very own family.

Betty is 8 years old, incredibly affectionate, and happiest when she is close to her person. She wants to be your companion, your shadow, your cuddle buddy, and the girl who gets to soak up all your love. ❤️

She would do best as an only dog, or possibly with a very relaxed pup who is comfortable sharing their human’s attention.

Betty has been waiting since we rescued her last December. We have shared her story, but sadly, she still has had no interest. 💔

She has so much love left to give. All she needs is someone to see what a wonderful companion she could be and give her the safe, loving home she has been waiting for.

🎄 Christmas will be here before we know it. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Betty could spend Christmas curled up in her own home, knowing she finally belongs?

Betty has so much personality, so much affection, and plenty of fun little moments like this one waiting to be shared with her forever person. 🥰

💕 HEIDI IS READY FOR HER FOREVER HOME 💕

Just look at this beautiful girl. Heidi is a sweet, mellow little soul, about 7–8 years old, and she’s ready to finally know what it feels like to be someone’s beloved dog.

She loves people, gets along with other dogs, and is simply sweet, easy-going, loving, and wonderful. She’s also pretty darn adorable.

Heidi’s life before rescue was heartbreaking. Severe mats had become so tight they cut off the circulation to part of her right ear, and it appears she may have spent her life being used for breeding. She deserved so much better.

Now it’s her turn. No more neglect. No more being used. Just soft beds, gentle hands, love, and a family who will treasure her for the rest of her life.

Please don’t let Heidi’s age make you overlook her. She has so much love left to give. Could you be the person who gives this beautiful girl her happily-ever-after?

💗 PRECIOUS NEEDS A HOME ASAP 💗

Precious is a 10–12-year-old gentle, loving girl who needs a home again. We rescued her about a week ago, and after a temporary foster in Southern California, she arrived at our sanctuary in Jamestown, CA, yesterday.

💔 She is really struggling emotionally and misses being in a home. She needs the comfort and security of a home and someone to love her.

Her temporary foster mom said:
🐾 Gets along well with other dogs
🐾 Has no food aggression
🐾 Takes treats gently from your hand
🐾 Is house trained once she knows where to go
🐾 Appears to be kennel trained
🐾 LOVES car rides ❤️
🐾 Is a gentle, sweet soul

🙏 We cannot keep saving lives without our village. Fosters are a huge part of that village. The more foster families we have, the more lives we can save.

🐾 Ditto’s Happy Tails Update! 🐾

We’re so happy to share that our handsome boy Ditto was adopted last week! ❤️

And just look at this sweet photo his dad, Sasha, sent us! He said, “He seems to be settling in very well. 😊"

That makes our hearts so happy! Ditto is such a sweet, easygoing, affectionate boy, with a gentle personality and a tail that was constantly wagging. It looks like he’s found exactly what he was waiting for: a loving home to call his own.
