Dear DBSA Boston Friends:

It is with great sadness that we regret to inform you that our treasurer, Susan Reynolds has passed away. In addition to serving as treasurer of the board of directors, Susan was a longtime volunteer for DBSA
Boston in various roles, such as editor of the Polars' Express and chair of the Communications Committee. She was an invaluable member of our team for many years, and we will miss her dearly.

DBSA Boston Scarecrow Field Trip
Saturday, October 19th, 2024
2:00-5:30 pm

Cucurbit Farm, 32 Parker Rd, Acton, MA

DBSA Boston's entry into the 9th Annual NAMI Scarecrow contest is now on display, with about 60 other scarecrows, at Cucurbit Farm in Acton.

Please join DBSA Boston on October 19th for a field trip to visit "BooHoo Billy." We're planning on being at Cucurbit Farm from 2:30 to 4:30. (It's about half an hour drive from Belmont, so with transportation time included, the field trip will last from 2:00 until 5:00.)

You can vote for your favorite scarecrow (each vote costs $1 and all proceeds go to NAMI). And for $10 you can try to find your way through a giant corn maze. There will also be light refreshments and a place to socialize.
