🎃👻 THE PUMPKIN PATCH INCIDENT: A WHISPERING SPIRITS HALLOWEEN MYSTERY! 👻🎃

It was supposed to be a simple Halloween investigation. Seven paranormal investigators, one creepy pumpkin patch, and absolutely NO reason to believe anything could go wrong.

Famous last words. 💀

🌙 October 31st — 11:47 PM

Lead Investigators Angela and Sherry arrived with their team at a pumpkin patch rumored to be haunted by a farmer who disappeared decades ago.

Angela: “Everybody stay together. Nobody wanders off!”

Sherry: “And if something starts chasing us, I'm tripping Angela first!” 😂

Michael immediately headed toward the corn maze with his flashlight.

Alexis and Brii started investigating a scarecrow that appeared to be following them with its eyes.

Melissa, the team's paranormal sensitive, suddenly stopped walking.

“Guys... we're not alone. Something is watching us.”

Jill, the camerawoman, turned toward Melissa.

“That's great, Melissa. Can you ask it to stand somewhere with better lighting?” 📹🤣

🎃 12:13 AM — THE FIRST INCIDENT

A pumpkin rolled across the path.

Nobody touched it.

Then another.

Then THREE MORE.

Angela: “Okay, who's throwing pumpkins?”

Michael: “Not me! I'm trying to figure out why this scarecrow just moved!”

Sherry: “Maybe it's looking for a better paranormal team!” 😂

Suddenly, every jack-o'-lantern in the patch lit up.

Melissa whispered, “Whatever is here... it doesn't want us to leave.”

Brii: “Well, it better have snacks because I didn't pack for an overnight investigation!”

👻 1:06 AM — THINGS GOT WEIRD

Alexis heard someone calling her name from inside the corn maze.

Michael's flashlight went out.

Jill's camera started recording on its own.

And Sherry discovered something absolutely terrifying...

ANGELA WAS MISSING!

Thirty seconds later, Angela came running out of the corn maze screaming:

“WHO PUT A MOTION-ACTIVATED SCARECROW IN THERE?!”

Sherry was laughing so hard she nearly dropped her equipment.

But then...

The scarecrow laughed too.

Nobody was laughing anymore.

💀 2:22 AM — THE FINAL RECORDING

Jill's camera captured all seven investigators standing in a circle.

Melissa was staring toward the field.

Alexis and Brii were holding their equipment.

Michael whispered, “Did anybody else hear that?”

Angela turned toward Sherry.

“Tell me you saw that.”

Sherry replied, “Angie... don't move.”

Behind them stood seven scarecrows.

The strange part?

Each scarecrow was wearing a Whispering Spirits Paranormal Team shirt.

The camera suddenly went black.

🎃 NOVEMBER 1ST — 7:00 AM

The pumpkin patch owner arrived to find the front gate wide open.

Seven flashlights sat neatly beside seven pumpkins.

Jill's camera was still recording.

And carved into the largest pumpkin were five words:

“THANKS FOR JOINING OUR TEAM.”

As for Angela, Sherry, Michael, Alexis, Brii, Melissa, and Jill?

Well...

Let's just say Whispering Spirits Paranormal Team hasn't returned any phone calls this morning. 👀

And rumor has it...

There are now SEVEN NEW SCARECROWS standing in that pumpkin patch.

From Cheer Moms to Ghost Hunters: A 15-Year Friendship Behind Whispering Spirits Paranormal Team

Two Florida mothers turned an unexpected conversation into a family-run paranormal investigation organization that continues serving communities across Florida and beyond.

FLORIDA — What do competitive cheerleading, two moms, and a historic haunted house have in common? For Angela DiBlasi and Sherry McCormic, they became the unexpected beginning of a 15-year friendship and a paranormal investigation team.

The two mothers met through their daughters' competitive cheerleading activities. During an ordinary conversation at practice, the subject unexpectedly turned to the paranormal.

Neither remember exactly how it happened.

Sherry, already involved with a paranormal investigation team, invited Angela to join an investigation as a guest at the historic May-Stringer House in Brooksville, Florida.

That single invitation changed everything.

"I jumped on that opportunity, and after that first investigation, I was hooked," Angela recalls. "The very next day, I started researching and putting together what would become Whispering Spirits Paranormal Team."

Sherry remembers what followed.

"Angela kept calling me, talking about paranormal team names and the possibility of starting something together," she recalls. "After about two or three weeks, I finally gave in. lol"

On August 3, 2011, Whispering Spirits Paranormal Team (WSPT) was officially founded.

From friendship to family

Fifteen years later, the organization has grown into an insured, 501(c)(3) nonprofit paranormal investigation team reporting more than 1,500 investigations across Florida and other states.

Its primary focus is residential investigations, although the team also investigates businesses, historic buildings, abandoned facilities, and private properties.

The family connection remains central to the organization.

Angela’s daughter, Alexis DiBlasi-Countryman, and Sherry's daughter, Brianna Fletcher, both began investigating at age 11 and remain members of the team.

They are joined by Michael DiForti, who has 25 years of investigative experience; Melissa Mello, a sensitive investigator; and Jill De Rose, the team's newest camerawoman and investigator.

Over the years, the founders say their fellow investigators and many of the clients they've met have become extended family.

The reality behind paranormal investigations unlike television ghost-hunting programs, real investigations don't guarantee unusual discoveries.

Some investigations produce unexplained evidence, while others require multiple visits before investigators encounter anything resembling the experiences reported by property owners.

WSPT emphasizes evaluating environmental conditions, considering natural explanations, and documenting observations before drawing conclusions.

The team also receives reports of unusual experiences during thunderstorms and full moons, although no scientific connection between these conditions and paranormal activity has been established.

Investigations can take place during daylight or nighttime hours, with the team generally preferring quieter evening conditions.

Educating communities and encouraging paranormal unity.

Beyond investigating, Angela and Sherry share a commitment to public education and cooperation among paranormal organizations.

"We love educating our community and supporting paranormal unity," the founders explain. "Our biggest goal is to teach people that paranormal doesn't necessarily have to be scary."

They encourage people to approach unusual experiences with curiosity rather than immediately assuming something threatening is occurring.

The founders also recognize that some people interpret unexplained experiences as possible signs or messages from deceased loved ones, while emphasizing the importance of investigating other explanations.

For Angela and Sherry, what began as an unexpected conversation between two cheer moms has become 15 years of investigations, lasting friendships, and shared memories. And through it all, one thing has remained constant: the friendship that started it.

👻🎂 ALEXIS AND THE HAUNTED BIRTHDAY PARTY!🎉🔦

It was a dark and eerie night when Investigator Alexis received an unusual invitation…

“You're invited to a birthday celebration. Come alone… if you dare!”👻

Being the brave paranormal investigator she is, Alexis grabbed her flashlight, EMF meter, and ghost-hunting equipment and headed straight into the unknown!

As she entered the abandoned building, her EMF meter started going CRAZY! 🚨

Suddenly, a ghost appeared wearing a birthday hat, holding a cake with 27 candles!

Before Alexis could ask a single question, the room filled with spirits wearing party hats, floating presents, and singing a very off-key version of HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🎶👻

Alexis stood there completely confused and asked, “Wait a minute… whose birthday are we celebrating?”

One ghost floated closer and whispered…

“YOURS, SILLY! HAPPY 27TH BIRTHDAY, ALEXIS!”🎂🎉

Just as Alexis started laughing, another spirit leaned over and whispered…

“By the way, we didn't get you a present. We figured 27 years of being haunted by your family was enough!”😂

And with that, every ghost in the room burst into laughter…

“BOO-HAHAHAHAHAHA! 👻🤣 BOO-HAHAHAHA!”

Let's talk about something that doesn't get discussed enough in the paranormal community… TEAM VS. TEAM!

Imagine being part of an established paranormal team with many years of experience, thousands of investigations, television interviews, media recognition, and a strong presence in the paranormal community.

Then, along comes a team that begins to receive recognition for something your team has already accomplished, possibly numerous times. Yet your personal self begins to become jealous 😳 while your business self is overwhelmed with excitement for the other team.

Suddenly, there's frustration, comparison, or maybe even a tiny bit of resentment.

But WHY? 🤔

Why would another's moment in the spotlight bother someone who has already experienced recognition and success?

Is it jealousy? Is it competition? Is it the need to constantly feel relevant? Or is it simply the feeling that years of hard work are being overlooked?

Here's another thought…

Just because another team is being recognized doesn't mean your team's accomplishments suddenly mean less.

Experience doesn't disappear because someone else gets attention. Recognition isn't a competition, and another team's success doesn't erase your own.

The paranormal field is supposed to be about investigating the unknown, sharing knowledge, helping others, and learning from one another—not competing over who gets the most attention.

After all, are we investigating the paranormal to find answers, or are we investigating for recognition?👻
