The secret of abundance is to have God in your life. He is capable of taking care of you every day, of meeting all your needs. And God does not give you what you need, but He provides abundantly for your physical, as well as your spiritual needs.
If you know and glorify God, you can rejoice in living, because He will meet all your needs, and because He will fulfill all your desires — provided they are in line with His will for your life.

Join us virtually as we continue our Scripture Sunday series—a time to grow together in God's Word through reflection, encouragement, and meaningful conversation. Each week, we'll explore a passage of Scripture and discover how God's truth brings hope and transforms our daily lives.

This week's Scripture: Colossians 2:6-7

As our Healthy Habits season begins August 17th through November 2nd, we will be diving deeper in the meaning of being 'Rooted in Christ'. This phrase emphasizes the importance of a strong foundation in Christ. The imagery of being "rooted" suggests a deep, stable connection, much like a tree that draws nourishment from the soil. This concept is echoed in Psalm 1:3, where the righteous are likened to a tree planted by streams of water.

The idea of being "built up" suggests growth and development, akin to constructing a building on a solid foundation. In 1 Corinthians 3:11, Paul states that no other foundation can be laid than that which is Jesus Christ. This dual imagery of agriculture and architecture underscores the necessity of both stability and growth in the Christian life, rooted in the teachings and person of Jesus.

Get ready to unlock your full potential this Fall!

Join us for our transformative Healthy Habits classes, where you'll discover a deeper connection with Christ and unlock a journey of spiritual, emotional, physical, and relational growth. Every Monday night from 6:15pm-7:15pm, we'll come together to explore what it means to live a life rooted in faith, and empowered to make a meaningful impact. Plus, enjoy food and babysitting services on us!

We are overflowing with gratitude for the incredible support and tireless efforts that made our back to school push a resounding success! Together, we empowered 180 Hope For Her families with backpacks, school supplies, and clothing, setting them up for a triumphant start to the new school year.

We were also able to support the Back to School Bash at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds. At the fairgrounds, 1531 backpacks were given to families, 1833 given to school/churches/non-profit agencies, and 3364 total backpacks were collected. Yay God! 🙏

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Center Point Church, Bay Life Church , ECHO, Bikes for Christ, St. Mathew's Anglican Church, HCA Florida Brandon Hospital , Mount Zion, St. Andrews, Home Team Pest Defense, Marlin James HVAC, Presbyterian Church of Bloomingdale , Brandon Rotary Club, ACME Barricades, Hillsborough County Public Schools, Ardent Mills, Mosaic, Enterprising Latinas, Boricuas, TECO, Ring Power CAT, Hillsborough College, Regions, JP Morgan Chase, Geico, DeBartolo, Ann Dunleavy, Sidekicks Family Martial Arts Center, the Stubbs Life Group, Favorable Retreats-Craft Group- and everyone in our who contributed to this amazing cause.

This week's Scripture: John 14:27

In this passage, Jesus emphasizes that the peace He offers is His own, distinct from any peace the world might offer. This peace is rooted in a relationship with God and is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). It is a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), grounded in the assurance of salvation and eternal life through Christ.

The world's peace is often temporary and conditional, based on circumstances or human agreements. In contrast, Jesus' peace is unconditional and eternal, not subject to the changing tides of worldly events. This reflects the biblical theme of God's ways being higher than human ways (Isaiah 55:8-9).
