πŸŒ²πŸš£β€β™€οΈβœ¨ Chain O Lakes State Park is getting national attention!

One of Noble County’s most beloved destinations was recently featured by ParksAndPets.com, highlighting the natural beauty and unique character of our park. Nestled in the heart of northeastern Indiana’s lake country, Chain O’ Lakes State Park is home to 13 glacial lakes, with 9 connected by natural channels and streams, creating an unforgettable landscape for paddling, fishing, hiking, camping, and exploring. πŸŒŠπŸ›Ά

What makes this park so special? It's the perfect blend of genuine water access, peaceful woodlands, abundant wildlife, and a campground experience that feels welcoming rather than overwhelming. πŸŒ³πŸ¦‰β›Ί

A special thank you to Lauren from ParksAndPets.com, along with Grace from Visit Noble County and Heather from Chain O’ Lakes State Park, for working together to showcase this incredible treasure and share the story of northeastern Indiana with travelers everywhere. ❀️

🏍️✨ Celebrate George Wyman! ✨🏍️

Join the Kendallville Heritage Association on Saturday, June 27, as we honor the incredible journey of George Wyman at Kendallville Powersports in Kendallville.

In 1903, George Wyman became the first person to successfully cross the United States by motorcycle. His historic route brought him right through Noble County, traveling from Ligonier to Kendallville on June 25, 1903.

In Wyman's own words:

"At 8 a.m. on June 25th, I left Ligonier towards Wawaka, where I came to a stone road and had good riding to Kendallville."

More than 120 years ago, this pioneering motorcyclist rolled through downtown Kendallville on his way to making history. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
