University of Kentucky Parent and Family Engagement The Office of Parent and Family Engagement provides support, education, and engagement opportunities to the parents and family members of UK students.

This page is monitored by staff during regular business hours (M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.). We strive to respond to posts and messages as quickly as possible when our office is open. We ask that you post, interact, ask questions, and discuss topics relevant to the UK experience. While we welcome and encourage postings and questions, we reserve the right to block individual accounts and/or remove comments, links, photos, or other content. We respectfully reserve the right to use photos and comments in our Parent and Family Engagement marketing materials.

We know campus safety is important to our Wildcat families. Join us live at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, on the University of Kentucky Police Department page for a conversation with Joe Monroe, chief of the University of Kentucky Police Department, about the university's 2026 Annual Safety and Security Report, safety resources available to students, and the work underway to help keep our campus community safe.
