As National Women’s Health Week comes to a close, TCACC recognizes the importance of advancing cardiovascular health for women and supporting the women shaping the future of cardiology.

Our Women in Cardiology section, led by Co-Chairs Dr. Bindu Chebrolu and Dr. Yogamaya Mantha, highlights the perspectives, accomplishments, and leadership of women across cardiovascular medicine. The section also fosters mentorship, collaboration, professional growth, and a more inclusive cardiology community across Texas.

We invite members to explore the latest Women in Cardiology articles and resources, including topics on burnout and heart health, palliative care in the cardiac ICU, and cardiovascular care for older adults.

Together, we can continue building a future in cardiology that reflects the diverse patients and communities we serve.
