Sabbath is a handsome and fun-loving 3 year old greyhound from Australia. This confident, energetic boy has a playful spirit and loves spending time with people. weather he's headed out for a walk, enjoying a play session, or soaking up affection, Sabbath eagerly seeks interaction and is always looking to connect either his handler. His puppy-like enthusiasm means he greets each day with excitement and curiosity.

Sabbath loves his daily walks and is always ready for his next adventure. While his leash manners are improving, he can still become excited and pull at times. With continued training and consistency, he is sure to make great progress. When paired with compatible personalities, he has done well when socializing with fellow greyhounds. Though he still needs further socialization with other breeds of dogs. Because of this he may be best suited as an only dog, or with a another greyhound.

This energetic boy loves to play, run, and show off his stellar zoomies! With his zest for life, he can at time become overly enthusiastic and pull or jump on lead. however with structured routine and guidance, Sabbath learns to settle nicely and his gentle, and affectionate side shines through.

Sabbath would thrive in an active home that can provide him with regular excersize, continued training, and routine. With the right environment he has all the potential to mature into a well-rounded loyal companion while keeping his happy, playful personality that makes him so delightful.

Our dogs love their stuffies, blankets, and cuddly beds, and we go through bottle after bottle of laundry detergent keeping everything clean for them. We would be really grateful for donations of laundry soap — liquid, powder, sheets, or pods.

This Fall's Auction for the Greyhounds starts October 23! Start your holiday shopping early or get a little something for the favorite hound in your life. All items are donated, so every cent earned goes right to the care of the dogs.

We've made a change for this year's Auction — instead of hosting the album here on Facebook, we have our very own Auction site. You do need to set up an account to bid, BUT you can opt-in to receive notifications when someone else bids on one of your items. Once the Auction ends, you'll receive an email listing ALL your winnings and your final total. We are really excited about this new platform and think it will be a better experience. Gale is friendly, playful, and full of youthful energy. With her confident, happy-go-lucky personality she is the life of the party and loves meeting new people. Gale enjoys going on walks and playing with her favorite squeaky toys. She is looking for an adopter with a moderate to highly active home who can bring her on plenty of adventures. She does good with other medium to large dogs, but can be a little timid when meeting new friends and requires a slow introduction. If you are looking for a happy and energetic companion, Gale might be the dog for you!

Roly Poly is a stunning 5 year old retired racer from Australia. He has a friendly, outgoing, and loving personality. He loves spending time with staff and shows that he has a very affectionate side to him. He loves his daily walks and has good leash manners, but can be a bit strong when he's excited. Roly Poly also does great when socializing with his fellow greyhound friends. He is a true companion dog that always wants to be included in all the fun. He is a very expressive and enthusiastic dog, especially in exciting environments. He likes to show his big emotions through teeth chatters. Roly Poly would do fantastic in a moderately active household with someone who is looking for a companion to enjoy life with.

We have a very special Greyhound to share with you today: say hello to Finnegan! Finn is a retired racer from Ireland who had been in a home for over three years before returning to us. Finn loved his mom and she loved him, but he bit his granddad.

Since he's been back, Finn has been the perfect gentleman. He easily settled back into his old routine and has been affectionate with staff and volunteers, even men.

Finn is a great boy, very calm and even-tempered with us. He would love to be in a home again, with an experienced adopter and maybe another calm, confident Greyhound to help him adjust.
