Our mission statement: To inspire generations and enrich the lives of youth by demonstrating and supporting activities for those who love the outdoors. We give back to the community and surroundings areas to honor and respect the life of one who had a heart for service and helping others.

Last Thursday our very own Kelly Johnson headed to the big town of Robertsdale to present TWO outstanding seniors with Fly High Goose Foundation CTE scholarships!

We are so proud of these young men and cannot wait to watch where their education, hard work, and careers take them. The future is bright, and we hope they keep us updated along the way💜

On Tuesday, FHGF board member Chris Stewart and his wife, Jennifer, had the honor of attending Elberta High School to present a $2,500 CTE scholarship to a very deserving student!

We love and appreciate opportunities like this that allow us to travel to all corners of Baldwin County, meeting incredible students and supporting their bright futures along the way! 💜

Last Thursday, Kelly Johnson and I had the honor of being invited back to South Georgia Technical College for the Caterpillar Dinner — an evening recognizing all of the CAT students, including the Thompson CAT students. 💜

Fly High Goose Foundation was also recognized for the $10,000 donation we made to the already established Adrian Johnson Tool Scholarship. What an incredible feeling to see hardworking students pursuing careers that Goose would have respected and admired so much.

Getting to meet these exceptional young adults was truly the highlight of the night. Their drive, work ethic, and excitement for their future reminded us exactly why we continue doing this work.

It was made even more special because we were able to revisit the oak tree where Goose’s ashes were scattered in 2019 💜 Such a full-circle moment and a reminder that his legacy continues to grow in places and people he loved most.

We are so blessed to be able to honor Goose’s legacy in such a meaningful way… and I have a feeling he would’ve fit right in with this crowd. 🛠️💜
