Our Backyard Battle Tournament was an absolute blast! 🎉

From hilarious team T-shirts to maneuvering giant feet our community brought the energy, enthusiasm, and competitive spirit all day long!

Meet Thomas Costello, one of our extraordinary captains for our Backyard Battle Fundraiser Tournament!

Thomas is 17 years old and was diagnosed with Crohn's disease approximately two years ago. Although his Crohn's disease can be challenging at times, particularly due to fatigue, he has continued to excel academically while maintaining a healthy social life. He has demonstrated incredible resilience and has not let his disease slow him down.

Having experienced the challenges of living with IBD firsthand, Thomas is passionate about supporting others navigating similar journeys. He was inspired to take on the leadership role of team captain because he believes he can make a positive impact by encouraging and supporting pediatric patients living with IBD in his community.
