🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨EQUINE VACCINE CLINIC 🚨🚨🚨🚨

Hi all,

Due to the recent surge of West Nile Virus cases in northern Arizona, we're holding a low-cost equine vaccine clinic at the Taylor Rodeo Grounds in Taylor, AZ to help protect our local horses.

Dates: Tuesday, September 8, 2026 & Saturday, September 12, 2026

Location: Taylor Rodeo Grounds, Taylor, AZ

Hours: 9am - 3pm

Available Vaccines & Services:

• $55 – Core Vaccine: Coverage for Rabies, Eastern/Western Equine Encephalitis (EWT), and West Nile Virus

• $45 – West Nile Virus Only: Limited supply available

• $35 – EWT Vaccine

• $20 – Tetanus Toxoid

• $15 – EIV/EHV Vaccine: Coverage for Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpesvirus

• Limited other services (such as deworming) available onsite

Important: Horses must be present for vaccination. Per veterinary regulations, vaccines will not be dispensed without an exam.

Follow-up appointments can be scheduled if you have other questions regarding your horses.

Why now? Heavy monsoon rains have led to increased mosquito activity and a rise in WNV cases in our area along with potential for increase in other vector-borne disease (such as eastern/western encephalitis). There has been at least one confirmed fatal WNV case in Taylor, AZ in the last two weeks. Vaccination is the best protection.

Thank you everyone who came out to the Apache County Fair Horse Show yesterday! We persevered through rain and shine! Thank you to all the volunteers who were there helping. Without your help, we wouldn't have a show. I can't thank you enough.

Here are the results. If beside your name it says All Around, Western Champion, or English Champion, you will be receiving a buckle. Please contact me and let me know if you would like your name, your horse's name, or both on your buckle. I'll do my best to get it done.

There are prizes for everyone down to 4th place in each division. I will put the awards together and contact you so we can meet and I can give you your award.

Everyone did so well yesterday. It's the biggest show for the Apache County Fair that we have ever had!
