Orphan kitten BOY BLUE celebrates his 5 week old birthday today with his first tiny dish of pate, more yummy kitten formula and a tiny low sided litterbox. Tipping the scales at ONE POUND, a huge milestone! He also has a new (old?) roommate. This new kitten was caught across the street from where Boy Blue was left. We are pretty sure its his actual brother! We also trapped the semi feral mom cat. She will be TNR'd and returned.

Were you unable to attend the community cat shelter building workshop, but still want to provide a warm, cozy spot for outdoor kitties? You are in luck! Volunteers made some extras. There are a few left, available for pickup at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter on Jellison road.

10/17/26 After comparing timelines, pics, videos, location, quirks etc. we are 90% sure this might be Cheddar Bob missing for over a month from Laurel. He went home with Amanda to visit, to see if he does things that Cheddar Bob did, like play with the dog, sleep in a certain spot etc. Stay tuned for updates. Fingers crossed!

10/16/26 Is this anyones cat? He showed up out Duck Creek Rd about 2 weeks ago. He was very hungry and thirsty. Pretty sure he is neutered but will verify on Weds. He is an adult short hair orange tabby male. Not ear tipped, not chipped, no collar, or ID tag. He is very affectionate, loves attention. The finder put a paper collar on him a few days ago but no one ever called them. Checked with neighbors it was not there's. If you recognize this cutie, or know who might own it, please reach out with proof of ownership. Otherwise, he will get verified neutered, microchipped, fvrcp and rabies vax, dewormed, and up for adoption as an indoor house pet.
*The white on his chest s just the lighting.

Did you know we have 2 new arrivals at the Billings Petco? Usually we wait until Saturday morning, but we had space at Petco, and these 2 kittens were waiting their turn. So, if you are looking for one (or two) little cuties, come say hi to ALASKAN and QUANTAS. These sisters were timy kittens in the back of that hot truck bed late July. They are now approx 16 weeks old, both now spayed, current on both shots, dewormed and microchipped.

We have two more unemployed working cats looking to relocate for full time work. Here is another pair ready to go. INFINITI and ROBERT REDFORD. Both are fixed, current on their shots and either ear tipped or chipped. They dont mind you hanging out near them (especailly at feeding time), but not socialized enough to be house pets or give snuggles. They require shelter, food and water. We will deliver within 90 mins drive of Billings. Kitties come in a loaner transition cage to stay in to get acclimated. Small donation gladly accepted to help offset their vetting costs
