Guess who’s back, back again…

We are so pleased to share that Kelly Regan has returned to Susquehanna Health Foundation as our new Director of Development.

Kelly began her Foundation journey in 2016 before taking on new opportunities in nonprofit operations and higher education. Now she's back, bringing valuable experience, fresh perspective, and a familiar face to our team.

To celebrate, we may or may not have gone a little overboard and filled her office with AI-generated masterpieces. We were excited, what can we say? 🤷‍♀️

It's DAF Day!

It seems like there's a special day for just about everything anymore (looking at you, National Kale Day! 😊), but this is one we'll gladly celebrate. It's a chance to highlight the ways folks can support the causes that matter most to them.

Many people have already set aside charitable dollars through a Donor-Advised Fund. If that's you, today may be the perfect time to consider where you'd like those dollars to make a difference.

UPMC North Central Pa. knows how to throw an event because Pretty in Pink was, well, pretty awesome. 💗

We had such a nice evening meeting new faces and celebrating the strength of women in our community.

Making its second-year appearance was our Gratitude Board, where attendees could share something they're thankful for. From family and friendships to second chances and good health, the notes were heartfelt, honest, and inspiring. They were also a reminder that when people are grateful for what they have, they often want to help others, too.

That's something we see every day through our work at Susquehanna Health Foundation, and it was on full display last night.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and a special shout-out to Bella Glow Med Spa for donating a facial package for our raffle. We appreciate your kindness and generosity!

Throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, local dealerships will donate $25 for every vehicle sold to benefit the Kathryn Candor Lundy Breast Health Center at UPMC Magee-Womens in Williamsport.

How lucky are we?

When we asked Dr. Mohammad Tahir to record an ad for Drive For A Cause, he didn't hesitate.

A surgeon at the UPMC Magee-Womens Breast Health Center in Williamsport, Dr. Tahir graciously lent his time and voice to the campaign. Judging by that one-take recording, he may have a future in radio. 🙂

And a special thank you to the team at iHeartMedia, who donate airtime each year to help spread the word.

We're constantly reminded of how many people step up to support this cause, and we're grateful for every one of them.

God works in mysteriously wonderful ways. Just as we handed out our last Jared Box, 46 more arrived—thanks to the Christian Women of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.

Josie Miller and her husband, Richard, delivered the boxes along with large TJ Maxx bags to help transport them throughout the hospital.

While here, Josie shared a story that reminded us why this project matters. Years ago, a friend's child received a Jared Box during a challenging hospital stay. The surprise, comfort, and joy it brought have remained with her ever since.

As Josie put it, "We want more kids to feel that loved." 💜

A Friday well spent. ⛳

We had such a great time volunteering at this year's ChamberLinks Golf Tournament. As fellow event organizers, it was fun to experience the day from a different perspective. So much planning goes on behind the scenes, but the Chamber’s staff made it look seamless!

We especially enjoyed the opportunity to connect with local businesses, meet fellow volunteers, and share in the positive energy that filled the course throughout the day.

Thank you to the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce for everything you do to strengthen our community. We were grateful to be a small part of it!
