Support strong and effective environmental rights in the CT Constitution! CT Environmental Rights Amendment Alliance

Connecticut Environmental Rights Amendment (CTERA) Alliance and dozens of other CT organizations send a letter to Attorney General William Tong, calling on him to embrace constitutional environmental rights for the people of Connecticut.

“We think Connecticut, with your support and leadership, could secure a crucial spot in history, leaving a legacy of protection that will span all the generations yet to come.

We want Connecticut to be the next state to recognize the RIGHT of its people to a clean, safe and healthy environment, and to do so in a way that is meaningful and enforceable.”

C3M is proud to be a leading organization in support of the CT Environmental Rights Amendment Alliance. In the coming election, ask the candidates for the CT General Assembly if they support the fundamental human right to a clean and healthy environment and a safe and stable climate. Every seat is up for election this November. (And for the seats with primaries, early voting in the primaries starts today and continues to Aug. 13.)

Regardless of what happens on the federal level, we can stand up for our rights by approving the CT Environmental Rights Amendment.
