Allow us to introduce the owner of Finding a Ribbon to Find a Cure. Although life has been unpredictable, this page remains a passion project that has not received the attention it deserves due to other commitments. Nevertheless, significant developments have been underway. Mike 'Bull' Higby is the mastermind and creative force behind WeldaBull Creations.

After 33 years of problem-solving, Mike has transitioned his lifelong passion for welding and metal art into a full-time venture. What began as a hobby has evolved into a mission to craft bold, custom metal pieces that are built to last and infused with soul. Every piece, from signs and sculptures to custom projects, is designed and crafted by Bull himself, with each piece bearing the mark of his dedication and love.

The goal now is to continue producing horseshoe pink ribbons and sharing them with the community in honor of breast cancer awareness.

We appreciate our existing followers and invite new ones to stay tuned for updates. WeldaBull Creations

To our beloved followers, who have so generously walked alongside us on this incredible journey to weave a ribbon of hope throughout the CSRA in October, our hearts overflow with gratitude for each and every one of you. This year, like many in our cherished community, we faced the daunting challenge of Hurricane Helene—a tempest that, tragically, pulled our focus from our treasured tradition of hiding the pink horseshoe breast cancer ribbons. In these trying times, you have all remained in our hearts and prayers, your unwavering support lighting our way. The devastation brought by this force of nature was more than anyone could have ever braced for, yet amidst this turmoil, we have been profoundly touched by the outpouring of love and unity that has blossomed within our community. It is a testament to the indomitable spirit of the CSRA, where we come together, lift one another up, and find strength in our shared compassion. With hearts brimming with anticipation, we eagerly await the joyous return of our cherished tradition October 2025!

Pink Horseshoe Ribbons

I have been making Pink Ribbons out of used horseshoes, for several years. I have been selling them and donating the money to University Hospital Foundation for the Breast Cancer Department and Mobile Mammography Bus. This year I’m doing it a little different. Every day in the month of October, we will be hiding Pink Horseshoes Ribbons, in public locations. May be a gas station, restaurant, store, park bench or by a light pole. We will post a picture every day, of the ribbon in its “hiding spot”. If you find one, its yours to keep or give to someone you think is deserving. If you find one and you want to tell us about it, or a story about how cancer has effected your life or a loved one’s life, that would be great.

Also, we would like people to post stories about Breast Cancer. Survivor stories, Remembrance stories, funny stories, sad stories, whatever you want to share, and we will pick 1 or 2 per week, to receive a Pink Ribbon for you or the loved one of your choice. Free, no strings attached.

Let’s be honest, breast cancer sucks. Anything that can be done to prevent or cure it, is awesome!!

Please share this page, with anyone you want, the more the merrier!!!!
