‼️‼️ 🗣🗣I am truly excited to announce the relaunch of Blessings Journee Second Chance Program🎉🎉! As many are aware I relocated to the State of Georgia in September 2021. Since arriving to this great state, I have diligently been seeking out areas where the homeless community congregate. In Chicago we had Tent City, Catholic Charities and Pacific Gardens along with various areas we frequented.

I have been familiarizing myself with the cities and local towns as well as the homeless community! I still carry care packages in my car as well as dollar bills and bags of candy to give out as I drive and encounter my “friends”!

My board as well as my supporters have been inquiring about our return!

Well Blessings Journee Second Chance Program is happy to announce our relaunch date on Saturday, May 14th with our First Georgia Campaign For the Homeless Community! We will make Care Packages along with Sandwiches, Chips, Treats and Water to be distributed throughout the Homeless Community in Atlanta!

Our first stop will be Peachtree & Pine at the Homeless Camp in Atlanta. We will journey to the Harold’s Chicken where many of the homeless hang out and then onto the Atlanta Mission; The Shepherds Inn where more than 1000 individuals are served everyday.

Our goal is to reach 150 people as we endeavor to make their day a little brighter! Blessings Journee Second Chance Program was birthed out in 2019 in an effort to help the homeless. This is my passion and just a small part of a bigger dream. Listed below are ways you can give to assist with our first campaign for Georgia.

Homelessness is the condition of lacking stable, safe, and adequate housing. The legal definition of homeless varies from country to country, as well as between different jurisdictions in the same country or region. United States government homeless enumeration studies also include people who sleep in a public or private place not designed for use as a regular sleeping accommodation for human beings.

Homelessness and poverty are interrelated. There is no methodological consensus on counting homeless people and identifying their needs; therefore, in most cities only estimated homeless populations are known.

If you see a homeless person, try to help them, if only with kind words, or a God Bless you. RiOna Eason, Founder of Blessings Journee keeps singles in her car and hygiene packages in her trunk, just in case she sees someone in need during her travels.

Let us consider the homeless and remember them in our prayers during these very cold weather conditions. The Bible tells us that when give to the poor, we are lending to God!
It is truly a "heart thing"! Be Blessed!
